One of the crew said ''tractor beam destroyed''... you ''gasp and said oh no not the tractor beam''... just wondering what the crew is thinking... love your videos, just like if we are on the ship with you...
Going back years... I always thought that phasers were best suited to drain an enemies shields.. Then torpedoes were for attacking the ship itself. Thus: Torps vs shields was a waste of material. Is that right?
I think you’ve got to maximize the power output to your engines and close until you can use the Mark one eyeball to count the rivets in the hull before you empty the tubes into the little buggers!
@@RetroBadgerGaming I’m trying to recall whether you’ve used a swarm of Sabres on DS9? They are surprisingly effective because they are such frustratingly difficult targets. By the by, I’m a mite jealous and a wee bit envious. I remember playing this game ages ago when computers were much was capable. With these mods it looks like it might be fun and interesting to try again. Thank you for sharing and thereby sparking my interest.
Those Sabers are like a swarm of angry bees. Or like a wolf pack. Starfleet should send them in a fleet of 10 or more. Since they are so hard to hit. Or maybe combined with the Defiant class ships.
10:24 that was some nice flying by the other saber
😂 at 10:50
I like how the Sabre has the old school bridge setup.
Nice classic throwback.
If you order coffee, black on Nebula class, what brand do you get? Maxwell House! ☕
Haha! Genius. You should be the Chief comedy act at Quarks. Vic Fontaine is history!
@@RetroBadgerGaming Thanks paly!
There's perk to your point.
Surprised you didn’t go for their impulse drives to slow them down first.
"try an use every advantage I've got"
*apart from proper flight control and completely ignore the roll axis....

The Saber class should have had a torpedo rollbar assembly like the Nebula class did.
The inaccuracy and slowness of torpedoes is pretty unreasonable imo, it's like they're throwing stones at each other
They also fire a lot more than they ever did in the shows and movies.
The Saber is a cutting edge light cruiser design!

Yes your right! The sabre is perfect for hit and runs. I’ll try to do more of that next time.

I believe sabers have pins, not rivets
God damn it sir please learn how to lock torpedos properly... When the two dots on ladders either side of the target align that is when you fire.
Gotta love the Sabre
This Nebula is broken ... completely.

There are a very useful ship. They definitely gave the Nebula Class a hard time.
@@RetroBadgerGaming Guess we need a swarm of saber bees led by an angry defiant vs something bigger like a borg cube :)
