First to witness this bushbuck hunt!
Not only have I paid 2 a years off subscriptions to your magazine through PayPal and not received a single copy (despite emailing you and getting no reply)....you then show me this.....the animal pushed up against a fence with no where to have a ‘fair chance’ of escape.....I think you need to rethink your business model and ethics. James Jefferies, Ethical Hunter, Australia.
Jimmy, please send me a mail hennie@africassportsman.com regarding your subscription
My 16 year old son, who I have taught how to shoot and the ethic's of hunting, and I both agree that this program is the best example of how NOT to hunt and shoot. This material is what all the anti-gun and anti-hunting lobbyists will thrive off.
I truly cannot believe that the sponsors of this show would allow Mr Fouche to continue the blatant cruelty and disrespect for these hunted animals. If a hunter is not sure of the shot, don't take the shot. I have been hunting for the last 40 years and am truly disgusted that material like this can be granted airtime and that it can be called "hunting".
This is not the first time you shoot wrongly an animal, fifth time on camera, how many off? In addition to the doubtful cases. Clearly, you need to stop shooting as an announcer for a hunting channel or get back to the target range. At least, you had the courage to put it on air, not everybody recognizes it's not alaways a hollywood clean shot. Next episode, I'm expecting you to be with somebody who teaches to redress this bad shooting. The least you can do for this animal is learn and get trained to not botch things again.
This is by far the worst shooting I’ve seen. To advertise such bad shot placement and then to air it on a channel like this for the world to see?? I mean, if you want to promote hunting, advertise SA culture, different hunting concessions I mean, get someone else to do the shooting and you hold the camera!!!
Cant agree more. Worst shot on UA-cam
He needs some training for sure. Natural point of aim and set up both were wrong. Get behind that rifle and get your body square to the target. Also maintain your cheek weld and cycle the bolt while keeping your sight picture on the target. They need to check out Impact Shootings UA-cam and pay for his training at least. Hell Piet is in SA, reach out and go learn to shoot properly.
I dont even think piet can help this guy haha
Hi all. We have reviewed all of these comments and do thank you for them. There is never any excuse for any bad shot or decision taken but we approached Stefan and we would like to shed some light on this. The shot was taken at last light on the last day of the safari. The bushbuck was quartering away and feeding towards the bushes. With the 140 grain bonded bullet the split second decision was taken to shoot. In order to hit the vitals the shot needed to be placed very far back. The spine was hit in the process. If it was by the bullet or secondary projectiles like bone we will not know. The vitals however was hit with the first bullet and was recovered in the chest of the ram. This was also reported in South African hunting magazine Game&Hunt. Hope this helps and thanks to all for watching and supporting our channel.
@@AfricasSportsmanChannel thank you for your response
Yeah
It just looked bad, stefan is an awesome guy and we love the channel
We just want to see him succeed in better decisions
The shot at 13:20 is appalling - the guide says let him turn - then you shoot him in the back and the follow-up shot even worse - learn to shoot buddy!
Middag oom kan oom asseblief plan maak vir n bosvarkie
Pelo ao menos alguém come a carne desses animais abatidos ?.
Best
3 shot to kill a buck in the open very bad shot placement and you had a dead rest. No respect for hunting or the veld this is just to make money . Yes you get bad shot and we all have had it but geese two shots
Very bad shooting. Please go to a shooting range before making another video. I have watched a lot of your videos and in almost all of them you shoot badly. I like your videos but please visit a shooting range.
Thanks for the comment Henry. Also thanks for watching
