What a great band OAS AAS, I totally agree.
Yes that Bb grace note is crucial in this riff. It's very common for guitarists to play a B which is wrong. It's a mistake I myself made as a youngster tying to play this riff by ear. It's deceivingly well crafted.

Great teaching , simple & to the point explaining how to use the dexterity of the phalanges without the complication of music theories . Like they say, a picture can paint a thousand words , the simplest it’s explained , the easier for one to comprehend no matter what musical level one may be on!

The tone is pretty simple... on pretty much any decent amp, bass at 1:00, mid at 10:00, treble at 2:00, gain/distortion to 9:00 or whatever sounds good on your particular amp, I also find (on a strat) bridge/middle p/u switch sounds best
Umm, this is only the intro riff. What about the rest of the guitar work after this? Did I miss something
