This is extremely laudable.. I have witness the commencement of the intermodal-bus inter change stations at Marina. It just too impressive... God Bless Lagos and Nigeria at Large
Lagos benefited massively from federal money during the oil boom of the 70s as a result of being a federal capital for many years,so you can't compare it to states receiving peanuts as state allocations
I hope they complete the project before the end of this current administration. Good job by Sanwo Olu’s administration. I hope they complete the 2nd phase of both the Red & the Blue Rail system. Thanks for sharing Ozed.
Good. But let's take Oshodi interchange for example. Beautiful gigantic structure but with the immediate environment lacking in clean environmental conditions, bad roads, touting, blocked drainages, traffic gridlock all within the immediate vicinity of the terminal. Now are these projects supposed to make things better better cos the case of Oshodi didn't substantially change anything except for the appearance of the huge structures. Can Lagos state government do a project that will truly eliminate the existing challenges?
The Oshodi interchange terminal didn't change anything? Really? 😅😅😅 The way some of you Nigerians find a way to talk down everything in the country. If the surroundings are dirty, or blocked drainages, fine highlight it but not for you to condemn the structure itself as if it's of no use. Same Oshodi interchange has a terminal 3 which will be used for the Lagos redline rail Oshodi station in few months time.
@@FredNaija except you don't understand English, I never condemned the structure. The question is, what's the reason for such gigantic structure? Has the reason been achieved? If it has, why do I have to spend so long from capa before I can get past the army market and vice versa? It looks beautiful, but is beauty the reason why it was constructed?
@@uchaysammyAll those things you talked about is not a government thing trust me. It's a people thing. If there is still traffic then that's thanks to the yellow bus. By the way, the terminal is doing what a terminal is doing. First create a safe environment for passengers to board buses. If you know Oshiodi before the terminal was built you'd understand this. The terminal was built to reduce the chaos in Oshiodi. As for the dirty environment and all, it's due to over crowding and that's because it used to be a market place and it still is
Lies.. With all the resources generated in Lagos, it’s disappointing to see the maintainance culture of lagos degrade so bad & lots of roads in lagos are really in bad shape, refuse in all areas, drainages blocked.. Worst never seen this way since the Intellectual Raji Fashola was governor. After Fashola left, Lagos became a refuse dump & dirty heart land with damaged flooded roads everywhere. It’s time we tell Mr Governor the truth..
Most Lagosians don't really know how huge the revenue and debt of Lagos is, then they would know the government is grossly underperforming and fraudulent.
