I'm no drummer or musician, just an avid listener who considers myself to have a good musical ear. From the first time I listened to this album the drums are what I noticed the most and made the biggest impression on me, which says a lot since the drum intricacies are something that I typically don't notice the first or even second time through an album. There were many moments where I would be focused solely on the drum patterns and all the rest of the music was the backup, rather than the opposite which is normally the case.
