The Morning Prayer - Pratah smaran Stotram प्रातःकालीन प्रार्थना

This is a prayer consisting of three stanzas (and the forth one is Phalashruti) in which the mind (manas), speech (vak), and body (kaayaa) of the individual are sought to be dedicated to the supreme Spirit. The prayer at dawn is profoundly significant. Dawn symbolizes the inner awakening.

भोर में, मैं अपने हृदय में स्थित प्रकाशित आत्मा का स्मरण करता हूँ, जो सत्-चित-आनंद देता हैं, वह हंस हैं - जो सर्वोच्च चेतना का प्रतिनिधित्व करता हैं और मन को तुरीय स्थिति में ले जाता हैं। (चौथी अवस्था, अति-चेतना)। आत्मा जो सदैव स्वप्न, जागृत और गहरी नींद की तीन अवस्थाओं में कार्य करती हैं। मैं वही आत्मा हूँ जो अविभाज्य, अनासक्त ब्रह्म हैं, जो जगमगाता हैं; मैं यह मन, शरीर, बुद्धि आदि नहीं हूँ जो पांच तत्त्वों का संग्रह है।
भोर में, मैं उसकी स्तुति गाता हूँ, जो मन और वाणी से अप्राप्य है, लेकिन जिसकी कृपा से सभी शब्द चमकते हैं, जिसे शास्त्रों में "नेति नेति" (यह नहीं, यह नहीं) वाक्यांश द्वारा व्यक्त किया गया हैं, क्योंकि उसे शब्दों द्वारा व्यक्त नहीं किया जाता। जिसे देवों का देव, अजन्मा, अपरिवर्तनीय तथा आद्य कहा जाता हैं।
भोर के समय, मैं उस परम प्रकाश को प्रणाम करता हूँ जो अंधःकार से परे है, जो पूर्ण हैं, जो शाश्वत हैं, जिसे पुरूषोत्तम कहा जाता हैं, जिसमें यह अंतहीन संसार सृष्टि बसी हुई है, और वह रस्सी पर साँप के समान दिखाई देता हैं।
यह तीन पावन श्लोक तीनों लोकों के आभूषण हैं। जो प्रातःकाल इसका पाठ करता है, उसे परम गति प्राप्ति होती है।
At dawn, I remember (meditate on) the Atma (the divine love) shining within my heart, ...which gives the bliss of Sat-chit-ananda, which is the swan representing supreme consciousness and takes the mind to the state of Turiya (the fourth state, Super-consciousness), which is always acting in the three states of dream, waking and deep sleep, I am that indivisible, detached Brahma that shines; I am not this mind, body, intelligence which is the collection of five elements.
At dawn, I sing the praise of That which is unattainable by mind and speech, but by the grace of which all words shine, who is expressed in the scriptures by the phrase "Neti Neti"(not this, not this), since He cannot be adequately expressed by words, who is called the God of the Gods, unborn, unchanging and primordial.
At dawn, I bow to that supreme illumination which is beyond darkness, which is complete, which is the primordial abode, and which is described as Purushottama - the Supreme Purusha, in whom this endless world is settled from the beginning of creation, and it appears like a snake on a rope.
This meritorious triad of verses are the ornaments of the three worlds, which unite one with the Whole. He who recites this in the early morning, attains the Supreme state.

सच्चित्सुखं परमहंसगतिं तुरीयम् ।
यत्स्वप्नजागरसुषुप्तिमवैति नित्यं
तद्ब्रह्म निष्कलमहं न च भूतसङ्घः ॥१॥
प्रातर्भजामि मनसा वचसामगम्यं
वाचो विभान्ति निखिला यदनुग्रहेण ।
यन्नेतिनेतिवचनैर्निगमा अवोचं_
स्तं देवदेवमजमच्युतमाहुरग्र्यम् ॥२॥
प्रातर्नमामि तमसः परमर्कवर्णं
पूर्णं सनातनपदं पुरुषोत्तमाख्यम् ।
यस्मिन्निदं जगदशेषमशेषमूर्तौ
रज्ज्वां भुजङ्गम इव प्रतिभासितं वै ॥३॥
श्लोकत्रयमिदं पुण्यं लोकत्रयविभूषणम् ।
प्रातःकाले पठेद्यस्तु स गच्छेत्परमं पदम् ॥४॥
Prātaḥ smarāmi hṛdi saoṅsphurad-ātma-tattvam
Sachchit-sukhaṃ parama-haṅsa-gatiṃ turīyam ।
Yat-svapna-jāgara-suṣhuptim-avaiti nityam
Tad-Brahma niṣhkalam’aham na cha bhūta-sanghah ॥1॥
Prātar-bhajāmi Manasā Vachasām’agamyam
Vācho vibhānti nikhilā yad’anugraheṇa ।
Yan-Neti-Neti-vachanair-nigamā Avochan
tam Deva-Devam-ajam’achyutam-āhur’agryam ॥2॥
Prātar-namāmi tamasāḥ param’ārka-varṇam
Pūrṇam sanātana-padaṃ Puruṣhottam’ākhyam ।
Yasminn’idam jagad’asheṣham-asheṣha-mūrtau
Rajjvām bhujangama iva pratibhāsitaṃ Vai ॥3॥
Shloka-trayam’idaṃ puṇyaṃ loka-traya-vibhūṣhaṇam ।
Prātah-Kāle Paṭhed’yas’tu Sa Gachchhet-Paramaṃ Padam ॥4॥
