Very good observation. Very reminiscent of Buddhist monk robes. In Buddhism, there is the Cycle of Samsara, which is the endless cycle of life and death. Achieving enlightenment means you have broken the cycle, and that's what Loki has done.

I wish the designers would publish book with all the designs, concepts, patterns and fabric swatches for Cosplayers to play with. A lot of details are lost just because they are so small and we can’t actually see them on the screen just their effect as a whole masterpieces these costumes are.

Every one involved in the creation of Loki tv series has done an exemplary job 💚 the music, the set, the cinematography, the colours, the costume, th screenplay, the props! I can go on and on. This series is truly a gem that outshines a lot of stuff that MCU has made.

I thought the armour was maybe partially about showing off, but also about putting up a protective front. The robes are a stripping away of that - he is comfortable in himself
as someone how loves clothes and details, I love this kind of video because on the show you can't always apreciate all the wonderfull details in the custumes. Thank you for your hard work, it was wonderfull and I love it all
At first I was unsure of the final out fit, but I'd then realised it was to do with his journey and being humbled. When his suit got burned away, his robes were just covering modesty and his horns made from rock were very symbolic of who he will always be. Loved it ❤ I started to wonder if Thor was regressing backwards, because his last outfit was overdesigned and flashy and he seemed a bit arrogant (unless that was bad humor). If Thor has a reverse arc, that would be fire though and id be impressed by Marvel to do something diff. Would love to see a villain Thor. But I doubt we will haha
