I'm so glad you said this. I realized many years ago that my attraction was only based on my jealousy of how other women emulated femininity in a way that I felt that I didn't. I carried that realization on my own for many years, but have never heard anyone else say it.
Thank you for your courage in sharing in this video. We really need to get to the point of speaking plainly about this matter. It will help dismantle the sexual orientation paradigm, the idea that we're all categorized by distinct, innate, and immutable sexual orientations.
How I tell others about this topic is that why are we going to sacrifice our children and souls to the Devil worshipping the sin of pride and sexual sins when we can instead embrace God through all the pain and be transformed into something greater than we can imagine by offering ourselves to God.
Chris, in this video I feel you have let me down. Your talk is very pollyannish. You have an overly optimistic or cheerful outlook on this subject that is unrealistic or naive. It doesn’t even begin to scratch the surface of same-sex attraction and the Catholic perspective of it. Your view is too idealistic. You are ignoring or minimizing the real problems or difficulties homosexuals have in their everyday lives - the real issues. You show a lack of realism or pragmatism. You’ve presented an unrealistically positive or simplistic view of the situation, without properly accounting for the complexities and challenges involved.
Hello! Thank you for the honest comment. The short form video format allows for minimal nuance but we hope that some of these other videos addressing the issue might provide a more holistic approach: ua-cam.com/video/ONHPwfl9_VI/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/7jbhFD8oYQ0/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/hEsFl-CgMoA/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/IrVwbpTcjZ0/v-deo.html
@@Alex-ms9tk first of all, I’m a bisexual woman so I know how falling in love with a man and a woman compares. Guess what? It’s the same. Are you suggesting same sex couples only experience eros?
@pt_ty I have no idea what part of my comment would lead you to that conclusion, and I don't think Christopher is suggesting that either. I'm sure two people of the same sex can experience very heartfelt love, and have many positive aspects to their relationships. That isn't the point at all.

Elaborate on what an abomination is too God? Because sodom and Gomorrah was an abomination. Therefore destroyed.

Pray the straight AWAY
You were never gay. Have you ever had a crush on a guy? If not, you can’t understand.
He never said he was gay, everyone has a different story, just because his is different from yours doesn't make it any less valid!
But like, straight people also experience eros. It's just self control in general - date a blue collar lady with a deep voice!
@@robynbeach3198 everyone has a different life story. Not everyone has a homosexual life experience.
