The Tboli and Blaan tribes are not far from the identical, in verbal communication, dress, culture, and tradition. Sometimes it is tough to recognize which Tribe they belong to, Tboli or Blaan.
In this production, you can see how beautiful the culture of the Tboli and Blaan tribes are and how a Datu from the Tboli tribe fell in love with a Bae (princess) from the Blaan tribe. It also shows their traditional courtship dance and ritual.

This is not Blaan kasi all the steps and movements its tboli..this is a Dance Drama a warrior Dance...
In this production, you can see how beautiful the culture of the Tboli and Blaan tribes are and how a Datu from the Tboli tribe fell in love with a Bae (princess) from the Blaan tribe. It also shows their traditional courtship dance and ritual.
Blaan performers here are Jimjay Balandan from Glan Sarangani Province, Rona Malida from Malapatan Sarangni Province, Gwen from Malungon Sarangani Province, and Kenny Mark Kasaligan from Malungon Sarangani Province. It just shows how a Datu fell in love with another tribe. We can notice that it is like a full Tboli performance because most of the music used is from the Tboli tribe. Sa intro pa lang ng Chant, Blaan na, performed by JIMJAY BALANDAN. At hindi lang ang Tboli ang may warrior dance, meron din sa Blaan.
Wala naman kailangan i-ARGUE diyan kasi halos na mga perfomers diyan ay magkakapatid na purong dugong BLAAN and TBOLI from MSU K.E.. At bilang ALUMNUS nila, isa din akong dugong TBOLI from Tboli South Cotabato, EDZEL MARK R. CALIS.
