    I noticed as much. But I watch hooj for entertainment mostly, and I find his advice mostly relates to my experience. Yet I am too lazy to do aim training and stuff lol.
    Some people are unable to recognize their faults, and seeking validation but getting critique can help them a lot, doesn't matter if the "guru" is useful otherwise. Placebo can do wonders.

    Posture is another thing to look out for. Treat your body like a temple and not a sacrifice playing these games. Don't hunch like Gollum looking at the ring, keep the back and head straight. It's easy to forget this sometimes.

    If you want to improve, dont watch videos like "how to improve X", instead, go on Twitch, find an Immortal/Radiant player who plays your main agent and learn. Analyze his gameplay and ask: Why did he do that?

    I don't care about Valorant but, nearly everything you mentioned is applicable to programming too and i achieved some of that traits but not all of them. Eventually this needs to be the mindset but, with a bit of soft touch for not burning out.

    I mean, routine.. How is practicing a routine, you've got to adapt it everytime if you really want improvement. Also it is way better to practice post game session since it is a huge short term skill boost that wrongly inflate your skills for the first few rounds of your game and is detrimental to your well being

    Good, well researched routine makes you good. I've spent a almost 5 hours trying to make a perfect routine from myself. Not long, literally 20-30 minutes. And I know I'm gonna perform better just because I'm warmed up in every aspect of valorant (even gamesense needs a warmup, because your mind wont work the same everyday, you might be tired etc). Don't say routine makes you weak, everybody is different and some people might perform better, some might perform worse, it's better to say, "see what's better for you", there's no such thing as one solution

    I feel like this video is slight misinformation.
    1. Coaches are good for pointing out your mistakes if you cant spot them.
    2. Some Valorant youtubers like Woohoojin genuenly make useful content that helps people improve: other people's vod reviews, map/lineup guides, or just overall useful information.
    3. Don't listen to certain monkeys who's name starts with the letter J and ends with Z and loves smurfing in iron lobbies and also makes you go broke for shit coaching.

    Hey Kimmy, idk what to do to rank up. About a year ago i was ascendant, then i stopped playing but a few weeks ago i started playing again. The issue is that i am now hardstuck in diamond one and all of my friends quit playing so i solo queue and get WORST team mates ever. I think im hardstuck because of my mates but i might also be making some errors and just not noticing it. Do you have so advice for me?

  • @yourfavoritezoomer9104
    @yourfavoritezoomer9104 5 місяців тому

    I get the complaints about the people who give basically what is the same foundational advice but package it in a different thumbnail, format, etc and add nothing. But what I've realized is that when you are a bad player, even if you vod review your games, there is an inherent lack of knowledge that can often prevent you from noticing critical yet inobvious flaws in your game. Its like a trash player watching another trash player's game and trying to give advice. At that point, it can be helpful to learn niche information from players who are better than you and may know something that completely changes the way your look at your game. It saves you a lot of hitting your head against the wall.
