I have a 12 year old and a 7 year old boy... Every night I see my daughter and I know it's precious time because she'll forge ahead in life and move away get married and have a home of her own, her own family... The way she's starting to hug me, I know she also feels that way, although she hasn't said anything of the sort. I try to be as sweet as I can, because frankly I am scared of that day. She's really my life. 😢😢😢
I miss my daughters they really don't want to spend any time together and don't come to visit they are struggling to find jobs after college and seems lost and I can't seem to help them even though I have tried to introduce them to my business friends but they won't come to park city to meet them. Oh well I don't know what to do anymore
I've traveled on AA for about 30 years, on countless flights. There's a good chance Captain Blank has been the reason I made it home safe. Great people working for an awesome airline. Thanks Capt!
How cool is it that she followed in her dad's footsteps and became a commercial pilot? Did the math...32 years. What a career! Good for him. I hope he's earned free flights for the rest of his life to enjoy retirement.
During his 32+ years of service, I was a Gold, then Platinum, then Executive Platinum, and then Concierge Key flyer who safely travelled on numerous flights piloted by this gentleman. My family and I say Thank You.
Am a former Pan Am FA & we didn't have domestic routes yet (yes, we were flying jets 😅) & we held American folks in high regard also. Especially love the dad, daughter pilots as a very special team. 🎉
his daughter will be a great pilot! it’s in her blood! i feel very confident with the future of air travel with a lot of the new pilots being taught by these men and women that have been in the skies for decades. ✈️👨🏻✈️👩🏻✈️
God bless you, Captain After thousands of days, and far too many collared hours of flight above your family and friends.. I can only imagine how you must have felt on that final flight. Well done, man! And most of all, thank you for keeping up with everyone else. Truly.
I have no first or second hand experience with it, but I've heard family members can fly free with some conditions like available space. It's possible for the final flight, that American gave a little extra.
@@AbstractJJJyes in many airlines that's a fact, however, it's limited to 2 or 3 family members on your list. To have big group like that fly subsidized or free I highly doubt it. Unless of course they were approved for this retirement occasion! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
This makes me so happy! My Dad had a stroke (forced early retirement) a few years before retirement and never had a last flight with friends and family. I love this tradition!
Wow, what a way to end a career, and a legacy with your daughter continuing on with that career of her own, AWESOME. Congratulations, and have an amazing life retired.
I thinks its beautiful they let his daughter conpilot with him his last day, thats super cool. I bet he cried seeing his little princess follow in his footsteps and be there to fly with him, so beautiful ❤️❤️
This is gold. A life well lived. Love of family, friends, and a career you love. Honor, Integrity, Kindness, Dedication and Love. This will be the Vid I share most.

His daughter being a pilot herself and carrying on his dreams. Beautiful
That’s pretty cool.
And a killer pooper to boot
First Officer. One step closer to becoming a captain like her Dad
Obviously he doesn't know anything about risk management.
It's so great
