Reclaimed Wood Plates Made From Discarded Branches & Epoxy Resin

I made these wooden plates from discarded branches of a guava tree and epoxy resin. I found some thrown away twigs and branches of a guava tree in a pile of junk near my workshop. I thought it'd interesting if I could make something out of it. So I cut out 5 inch twigs and cast them in resin. I used a pressure pot to cast the resin wood block to make sure there were no air bubbles. After the resin wood block cured and hardened, I took it to my lathe and carved out 3 small plates. Looked pretty amazing in the end.
