This is brilliant. I like to chair fly the entire flight a few times in advance. Sometimes I manuscript it, then have my wife critique what I should remember to do and when. Thanks for helping me become a better pilot, sir.
Great video, Rod! I found it hard as well to answer the same question during my flight training. After some constant prodding from my very wise CFI I must have got the idea because eventually I was successful in obtaining my PPL. Knowing how to insert knowledge into a students mind is an art in itself! You seem to have that skill. Keep up the good work because learning to fly is better than sex!
Hi Rod , first off all, as a longer new pilot in training, I watch most of your work here on youtube. you are very good and funny. Tell me about the baby in the back just chilling in diapers and prop hat?? 2:29 HAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!
Hi Rod, can I know if this method works when you're flying with an instructor that's adamant in teaching you with his own unique ways? I am afraid of imposing this idea due to certain reasons you may not comprehend 😅, but I would like to try this method to develop myself. Appreciate the reply thank you, Sir
Well, if you feel your instructor will become offended by a suggestion, then don't suggest it. However, there's nothing wrong with silently using this strategy to help you think ahead of the airplane. Best, Rod

-A Colombian CFI.
My instructor use the grey book - saved both our lives on a very bad day
Not the tap, but I use this technique in recurrent instrument training where it is not only important, but essential.
Are cattle prods effective flight training tools? ;-)
