I love the show and the people. For me, I wouldn't mind paying a good bit of money for a good comic book. I don't like people who are too cheap and complain and don't want to buy comic books at good prices but want everything under 5$. Glen is LEGEND. I cannot live without this show. Its my culture, my hobby, my world.
This show is THEE reason why in last 3 years, I regularly go to my local comic book shops [ there used to be 1, now there are THREE in our area...we are doing well!] even when I only buy 1 comic book. To keep up with the news and say hello!
The social element of these shops is paramount, I always said that for the shake of mental health and the respite they provide, should be subsidized. Then the "Modern comics" came and.... those are for the "moderns audience", not for white kids and men talking trash and searching for some evasion from reality, daydreaming should not be problematic as we keep it inside our minds and our circles.
one thing I love about Glen's shop. the great comics on the "wall"...I can see them. they are not too far away or high up on wall, LIKE OTHER shops do. Thank you.
Loved the start, absolutely Punisher is much better than the Merc with a mouth, not only because he didn't need two numbers but for me one of the best short histories was when he faced the trio of fools defeating spider, wolverine and dare devil showing real brain and power....and great cooking skills
In these shops chances are you have been talking with someone for months every time you coincide without even introducing yourselves, we care for the opinions, not the name behind, that was the magic or the original "nerdoom"
It's so funny 🤣, how every other generation makes funny of the others, as the new ones coming up, will do the same about now too, in the future. Funny world we live in.
I DID NOT KNOW...that Thor's "God butcher" was an orc. In the movie, he is humanlike. They could have done his as an orc. AFter all, they already made a movie with orcs in Warcraft and already had Orcs in Lord of Rings, so how hard would it have been to make the God butcher into an Orc? give Christian Bale some makeup on his face.
It don’t get better than this…Friday night after work treat! Luv the show…shout out from the west coast of Canada.
I ABSOLUTELY sat and watched the whole episode in one sitting. i'll take another.
I hope we see more of Eddie. He seems like a pretty cool guy. Great episode!

ANOTHER good one
Holy voice of reason Andy! Broke down a lot of the misconceptions about comics today, well said!

Loving the Daydreamers push lately!!
The best part of any comic shop is the geek speak between customers.
Sure, we could buy online but this social element, the banter the jokes and the smiles are what keep the shops open.
Loved the start, absolutely Punisher is much better than the Merc with a mouth, not only because he didn't need two numbers but for me one of the best short histories was when he faced the trio of fools defeating spider, wolverine and dare devil showing real brain and power....and great cooking skills
Great commentary by Andy!
Sure we all felt that pain, I am afraid that is why the "decline" has never affected reprints and the old series.
I thought Eric and Andy were best friends and at the end they have an introductory handshake. This is what comic book shops are for!

Close up Glenn must be a tshirt
The bald guy seems very pre-defensive…the bearded guy is somewhat a breath of fresh air on here
Beard guy seems like a reddit stereotype, with the exact same tired opinions, and chock full of logical fallacies.

@@vivalarazausarmyvet4453 eh, but not really. You can cope, though.
@@vivalarazausarmyvet4453 lol, yes, "Mohamedally" is such a hillbilly name. hahaha, brainworms.

Can Micheal be my next door neighbour?
11:30 Modern comics aren’t smaller than older comics? What are you talking about? Edit: He says today’s comics are smaller than older comics.
He is correct; modern comics are physically smaller than silver age books and golden age books are larger and longer than modern and silver age books.
