There are so many things I enjoyed in this video, but one of the most significant was the gentle, unspoken reminder to spend more time in God’s Word. Thank you for that! Your journal, your artwork, your spirit, and your ideas are all beautiful.💖
Thank you so much for your kind words. In the busyness of it all… kids, work, family, friends and community…. It’s the only time where I can decompress, recalibrate and spend time with my Creator. I’m so happy this video has been an encouragement to you. May you be inspired and blessed this week . 🙏🏽
I got a little teary-eyed when you talked about your "tickle trunk" and Mr. Rogers. Your ideas are spot on. Thank you so much for you inspiration!! ❣❣❣
Thank you for sharing Christine! I love the postcards. It makes it so quick & easy to take a minute to encourage someone. I also love all the different coloured pens you used to write in & their coordinating colours.
Hi Francesca. Thank you for watching. I do love coordinating my journals and stationary in such a fun way like this. Do you like to journal or are you more of a junk journaler or scrapbooker? I'm just curious to see what everyone is into these days. Have a great rest of your week! ☺
Welcome Elizabeth! I find so much joy from hearing where my crafting community is in the world. Denmark!!! Thank you for sharing I’m going to start a world map and pin where everyone is. I feel so blessed to be connected with people from around the world. Have a fantastic week😊😃
Christine, your channel came across my UA-cam feed and I'm glad it did. 😊 This journal is absolutely beautiful!!❤ The details are amazing and definitely a work of art. Thank you for sharing your amazing journal! ❤ I hope you have a wonderful day! Gina
Hi Christine - I am Sylvia from Troisdorf close to Cologne, Germany. I am following your channel several months and I like it very much. In Germany i woudl say it is "erste Sahne" (first creme!😂😂😂). I love how you made Tags and DingelDangels, sometimes it is so simple, that I think why do you don't have this Ideas? The paper you used ist fantastic and your bookbinding is so simple, that everybody can do it. Sorry of my worst english, but my last english lesson is more 45 years ago - so sorry . The Journal you introduced ist heartwarming, the colour, tags, dingeldangels etc. What i want to know is, what kind of box is it at the begining of your video? Can you tell me where you bought ist? Have an nice weekend with sunchine in your heart from Germany ❤❤❤
Hi Sylvia. Firstly, thank you for sharing where you are from. I get so excited when my crafting community shares where they are watching from. It just makes us feel more connected and it blesses me to know that my creations are being enjoyed all over the world. The acrylic trunk is from CB2, a furniture store in the US. Look up "Acrylic treasure chest" in your area. I bet they have them there too. Thank you again for watching my videos. Enjoy crafting !
Hi Christine. I’m a new subbie from South Africa. Love you style, never heard of wine lines, but love that idea. Please point me to the video where you show how to make the polymer embellishments. Those are very cool.
Hi Christine! Beautiful journal! You mentioned a "folded envelope as a pocket" tutorial, I've been searching on your channel, can't find it, could you please post it? Thank you 😊
0:20 The Tickle Trunk appeared on the Canadian show Mr. Dressup from 1967 to 1996. In each episode, Mr. Dressup would open the Tickle Trunk to find a new costume that was always the right size and perfectly suited to the challenge at hand. 🙂🙂🙂
I still need to watch this but had to say how much I love the ingenious use of bull dog clips! So clever! 🤩
Thank you. It’s become my “go to” every time I forget to place a closure at the beginning of my journey.

The fancy bulldog clips to close the book is genius! May the elegance of journaling continue 💕💟🫶🏽
I'm so glad you liked it. Even as an after thought, it wasn't too bad. Have a great week!
I think the clips are quirky and beautiful in its originality. That’s part of the fun of junk journals

I use pretty headbands to keep my journal closed when they have grown more than I imagined. I love warm rich colours in journals.🍂🍁
I like the idea of headbands. Anything with an elastic would work. Thank you for sharing ! ☺️
Hi Christine .
Beautiful journal! It is like a history book.
Congratulations.

So glad you liked it Melba. 😃 I truly enjoyed creating in this one. I think the next one won’t be so journal entry focused. We’ll see…

Love your work!
Thank you Judith. I truly enjoy creating journals like this and seeing it to completion.
It was Mr Dressup with the tickle trunk and it had costumes in it.
Yes!!!! Now I don’t feel so alone. People have been commenting about where I got this tickle trunk idea. 🤣🤣
Yes, this! I hardly watched Mr. Rogers, being Canadian, I grew up with Mr. Dressup. He had the Tickle Trunk. 🇨🇦😘

The tickle trunk was Mr. Dress-up, not Mr. Rogers.
OOps. Did I say Mr. Rogers? I meant Mr. Dress- Up.

Hi Tanya! You remember too. I loved Mr. Dress up. Thank you for the walk down Memory Lane.
