@@amandar273 If it's "too good and pure" why are they in negotiations to bring it back in a reboot? I think they know a bit more about it than you or I. I do know that they want the entire cast back but it's difficult right now because so many of the original cast is committed to other projects.
I absolutely LIVED for Wilhelmina “#SLAYALLDAY” Slater!!! Vanessa Williams was a genius the way she embodied the character and she ALWAYS looked fabulous from hair to makeup to wardrobe right down to her heels!!! Vanessa’s best role to date!!!
There were so many reasons to tune into this show. But, I have to say Vanessa Williams’ gorgeous outfits, perfect hair & makeup we’re a treat I savored every episode. Not to mention her witty zingers!! One of my favorites was when she called Christina “Bagpipes!” I could NOT stop laughing at that unexpected quip!!
When she called Christina a "drunken irish woman" and Mark corrected her took me out. They were such a terrific cast all so genuine and their chemistry is very palpable!!

It showed the reality of making life changing decisions and how much it impacts not only oneself, but others. It also kept it funny with the script and the characters way of acting the scenes out 👏🏼 love it

Man I lived for this show when it was on the air!!I never missed an episode!I was sad when it got cancelled but thinking back on it I think the show Ugly Betty just finally ran it's course and it didn't overstayed it's welcome on the air like most shows I've watched in the past.

Ugly Betty was the programme that broke the world. It was massive here in the United Kingdom. We had it on Friday evenings on Channel 4. It was appointment television at its best. They should make a sequal of it.

Way before me too movement or pride movement Ugly Betty already shown how we should embrace this diversity and that its ok to be not pretty but still has powerful strongwill to keep on going and successful. The story line was so funny and inspiring, very light and joyful no stress but the content still powerful enough. There are no need to have dark and heavy characters to make such a good TV series/drama. I love every single character in Ugly Betty and I think they carried it well. I rewatch it till now keep me inspire.

I can't even express well how much I love this show and all members. When I first saw Ugly Betty on TV, I was 16. and now i'm a 27 year old woman. It really affects my life. Sometimes I imagine if I never got to know Ugly betty, how my life would be. I missed sooo much that I watched again and again. I've rewatched once a year .Everytime laughs and tears. I miss Ugly Betty. I wish they(all the members and crew who made the show)know that someone still missing ugly betty all the time from far away.
There have been so many shows throughout television history with only 1 or 2 seasons that have been so amazing but got cancelled. Thankfully this show got at least 4 seasons.
Yeah, and unfortunately it got cancelled because it's an expensive show to make and it got hit hard because of the recession. I think it could have gotten more seasons if it was under better circumstances.
