The heavier electronic focus in this remix gives me Sonic Forces vibes-which, considering the themes at play in both Eggmanland, Forces, _and_ Eggtopia as a whole, seems all too fitting ;)
Probably the best final sonic stage IMO (Terminal velocity is great thematically but the gameplay is meh). I love ultra hard final stages, so when everyone told me to prepare for it I was like YES PLEASE. In my headcanon I like to imagine this is kind of a Proto-Interstellar Amusement Part, not only does the music resemble the techno style of Colors, but the stage gimmicks are present throughout Colors as well.
I also sometimes have the thought that Colors makes more sense in canon to be BEFORE unleashed, so it could also be like a NEO Amusement Park, kind of a dark rendition of Colors' setting

Nice job on the remix. What if in Sonic Forces, there was a combination between the Interstellar Amusement Park and Eggman Land, a park made for the loyal servants of the Eggman Empire.
That sounds freakin’ incredible-makes me wish even more that Forces had capitalized on its premise and celebrated all things _Eggman_ across the series ^_^
One of the most memorable moments of this game, anyone whos played unleashed knows how much of a challenge this thing actually is. THis place shows NO MERCY in surviving, everyone whos expirienced it has died more than like 3 times to do this stage. AND BEFORE you say ur a pro, I need proof that u can complete this with NO upgrades to both sonic and werehog and do ALL the hotdog missions in eggmanland
Nice to see this song get some attention. I almost never hear it brought up, which is a shame cause both the day and night versions are really good. Great remix too 👍

I love the stage so much conceptually and it's probably great, I unfortunately just can't appreciate it with the ps3 serving 2 frames per second lol
