    Neat tool. Great video Case. There is a lot of remote power sources on the market now. Battery power sources that are charged by solar panels. They can power 110 AC items and be charging the selfs at the same time with the solar panels. That’s a neat tool I think.
    Have a great Sunday.

    I have this exact same device and I would just use it to charge your phones and tablets with the USB but you could also buy the Bauer USB attachment that goes straight on the same batteries without the small inverter but with this one that has the small inverter for me I would just use it for charging like a laptop or maybe a fan for example that doesn't have a built-in rechargeable battery that wasn't USB but that's basically it because it's not made to run Power tools honestly and if you want to run power tools just buy the Bauer 20 V lineup for that Because a small inverter like that won't run much at all and it might run a small TV because I used to watch TV for a short amount of time on the small inverters that come on some jump boxes but if you do that several times it really wears out the batteries on the jump boxes even when you constantly recharge them fully but the inverters on the jump boxes are about the same size as this inverter so it would run a TV especially a small TV for a little while like maybe to watch 1 movie or something if you're lucky but not all day that's for sure but nonetheless I think it's really good to have and especially if your USB only Bauer attachment were to quit then you could use this power inverter to charge a phone or tablet or something where you don't have electricity or like your car to plug it in but to run your corded power tools if you didn't have electricity like in an outage or something you should honestly buy and use like a small inverter generator for that which would work perfect for corded power tools when you don't have electricity just to tell you because they might run a couple thousand Watts for example like a small inverter generator or at least 1200 or 1400 but even a generator that size won't run some of the power tools so I think you would need maybe like a 2000 W Or especially a 4000 W generator to run corded power tools and if possible an inverter generator because they're a lot more quiet, will run more sensitive electronic equipment and you don't have to change the oil nearly as often maybe like every 100 hours of use compared to every 20 hours of use Compared to a generator that doesn't have the inverter technology just to tell you.

    I wonder if this would work to charge my OttoBock Genium X3 prosthetic?

      Admittedly, I know nothing about prosthetics, but I would assume it would.

    At 150 watts you’ll run a small fan, a light with an LED bulb etc.. No way that will run a refrigerator or a power tool. It can probably recharge a laptop like a Macbook Air and certainly an iPad. I have an Anker power bank but when it runs out of power I have to recharge it. It doesn’t have swappable batteries. This inverter does.

    Inverrer only good up to 1.25 amps most power tools need at least 3 amp and up to run

      Yup you got it! Circular saws are typically 12-15 amps, palm sanders are around 3-5 amps. It can run small things like heating pads, fans, laptops, and a few other odds and ends. Would be nice if they came out with a bigger version that you could plug multiple batteries into, put out something like 1500-2000 watts, that would run most power tools.

    Can you run a 32 inch lcd tv with it. The tv says 30watts 50 watts max

    • @BuildALotAcres
      @BuildALotAcres  7 місяців тому

      I think it’s a big ask. It’s possible if only for a short time

      Nominal voltage X Amp hours = watt hours, which equals capacity. Therefore, with a 5 ah battery, with a nominal voltage of 18v (as in a Bauer 5ah 20v max battery), you are getting 5x18=90 watts of runtime. If your tv uses 30 watts, you cab run that TV with this inverter, off that battery, for about 3 hours. This is not counting the inverter efficiency losses, of course, which in a high frequency inverter life that, will range anywhere from 3 to 15% in conversion loss going from DC to AC. So, worst case, you'll get at least 165 minutes.

    It’s a cool Power Bank option. I’ve bought portable power banks that gave out after 2-3 years. It’s the nature of rechargeable batteries. The fact that you can use the same battery platform as your power tools is a plus. Great for camping. However, don’t expect a lot out of it. Charging your phone or tablet or even an average laptop for a little while is probably the best you’ll get out of it. Not enough juice to run say an electric skillet. Be sure to check how many watts your device draws. This device has a MAX of 190 watts.

    That is only good for charging your cell phone or small fan , I would never buy that because it's useless to me.
