    2007 Ford Expedition EL Review - In 3 minutes you'll be an expert on the 2007 Ford Expedition
    joetunney.com
    This month we're plugging a funny video about the Infiniti IPL and the fact that our salesman was completely misinformed about why it is called the IPL, discovering only in the end that he has completely embarrassed himself. Take a peek if you have an extra couple of minutes.
    • 2014 Infiniti Q60 IPL ...
    Hi, this is Joe Tunney at Infiniti of Kirkland bringing to you a comprehensive catalogue of hundreds of great vehicles from throughout the automobile industry. Although we specialize in Acura, BMW, Lexus, Mercedes, sports cars, SUV's and of course our beloved Infiniti product line, we also like to carry and review exotic cars from time to time like Ferrari, Dodge Viper, turbocharged all-wheel-drive cars like Mitsubishi Evo and Subaru WRX, as well as affordable vehicles that fit into every budget. For 2014 we are going to make a point of reviewing everything we carry, demonstrating for you the interior and exterior features and condition, the wheels and tires, trunk space, as well as an overview of power, technology, economy and driving characteristics to give you factual information as well as information unique to this particular vehicle so that you can enjoy a more intelligent shopping experience without ever having to step onto the lot.
    A little about me. I have been the manager at Infiniti of Kirkland since 2004 and prior to that I ran a high end car boutique in neighboring Bellevue, Washington. For my career I have sold over 10,000 cars so I hope to bring you far more insight than you might ever know to even ask. I show you in some videos how to see if a car has been in an accident, how to make a great buy on a car with a bad Carfax, or why I wouldn't personally buy a car even if it has favorable reviews. Every once in a while I'll even have a little fun to keep the videos fresh but I want to make certain you know that you can always email me at joet@infinitiofkirkland.com if you ever have any questions or feel I have made a mistake or used poor judgment or poor taste.
    I am truly thankful for the hundreds of thousands of views and more importantly, perhaps much more importantly, I am honored to have been viewed in over 200 countries around the world. We all are ambassadors for the things we believe in regardless of where we were born and from my little corner of the world here outside of Seattle, Washington I want to express my sincere gratitude for you having invited me into your home, your place of work, or for simply taking a minute of your valuable time to listen to what I have to say. Maybe we will never meet face to face, but I am forever in your debt for giving me the opportunity to share with you the things I have learned. 2007 Ford Expedition review. 2007 Ford Expeditions reviews. 2007 Ford Expedition EL review. 2007 Ford Expedition EL review. 2007 Ford Expedition specs. 2007 Ford Expedition EL towing capacity. 2007 Ford Expedition EL Limited review. 2007 Ford Expedition EL Eddie Bauer. 2007 Ford reviews. 2007 Ford problems. 2007 Ford recalls.

    I am very surprised at 07-17 expedition el's performance. I drove hummers,denalis,and escalades & they do not compare far as utility & dependability. I did my research on the triton. I am a HEMI man, but the triton is another well built american engine. Its very functional & well balanced. You definitely feel like your in a "biggfoot" monster truck. Because its a different feeling from the other guys. Most of all, you have many parts for this truck, you can easily find anything you need. Very well built & very masculine. Every ford truck virtually built off the same platform in these model years. Very easy to repair & you can give it a personal touch with aftermarket components to make it stand out, or you can ride this thing thru swamps & dunes if you have the right wheels & aerodynamics. The steering is by far the smoothest & the truck is very agile like ballerina. The space is a miniature RV feel, I call it my "office space" the 3rd row is the biggest I ever seen because of the positioning of mechanisms underneath the floor. Pull out the laptop, ignite a fine cuban and sit comfortably like an arabian KING!!!

    I was having a tough time picking between the 07 SUV line. But then I went through the tow rating of each 07 SUV and I think the 07 ford expedition v8 4x4 is a steal for being under 10k with decent miles esp with that tow rating. Definitely gonna be a vehicle I will purchase.

      Actually, it does and it's a significant feat of engineering which is widely copied to this day - per Edmunds.com "By running the rear driveshafts through the frame rails, engineers were able to lower the floor, and this allows even adults to sit comfortably in the third row. Legroom is unchanged from the regular Expedition, but the EL offers 42.6 cubic feet of luggage space with the third row in use."

    I just purchased an expedition on 12/19/14...in no part due to this video! I would strongly suggest that this sales person KNOW THE VEHICLE YOU ARE SELLING! the reason there is so much room in the third row seat is NOT due to "splitting the drive mechanism"....what???? It is due to the SUSPENSION!! GM products use a live rear axle as opposed to the independent suspension on ford products. Wow...please due your research!!

    • @everycarSeattle
      @everycarSeattle  7 років тому +1

      That's right, it has a modified "split" driveshaft that allows enough space underneath the car to enable the 3rd row seats to fold flat...a HUGE benefit for 2007 Ford EL's.

      @16jnajm 7 років тому +6

      The Fast Lane with Joe Tunney Okay. I was doing a bunch of research and I was ready to call BS. But now I see. The axles shafts, not the driveshaft, go through holes in the frame. The independent rear suspension saves interior space as opposed to the solid axle of an Escapade for example. I understand now. Thanks

      Everyone got so mad about this one and I was only quoting Edmunds.com - so let's check in with TopSpeed and see what they have to say after interviewing the chief designer of the vehicle - "Ford’s patented porthole-through-frame design allows the DRIVE SHAFTS to feed through the frame rails, lowering the center of gravity for better ride and handling and maximizing passenger space in the third-row seat." So, not only are they DRIVE SHAFTS, they are patented to boot. So I typed in google to see if others could corroborate this finding and voila - Ford’s patented porthole-through-frame design allows the DRIVE SHAFTS to feed through the frame rails, lowering the center of gravity for better ride and handling and maximizing passenger space in the third-row seat." - hmm...I'm starting to think they might be DRIVE SHAFTS.
