There was another story from around 1992 even more bizarre than this one. In southern Florida a tornado hit a trailer park tearing the roofs off of mobile homes and just decimating them. One couple didn't have time to get to their 6 month old baby and the father was thrown a very long distance from the mobile home and survived mith multiple broken bones. In the after math the father managed to hobble back to what was left of his trailer. His wife was still alive but buried under their couch and lots of debri but the baby was nowhere to be found. When the father finally got his wife uncovered and conscious she broke down and told him that she saw the tornado take their baby into the air and their 6 month old little girl just disappeared! They feared for her life thinking they would never see her again. But as it turned out one of their neighbors, an elderly gentleman, happened to be in his home and it wasn't completely devastated like those across the street were. Upon heading over to his neighbor's house he heard a baby cooing! He called for the father and the two men began looking through the rubble but no baby! Then, out of the blue the neighbor happened to be standing next to a man's dresser that was standing upright near a tree that wasn't hit by the tornado. And he heard the baby again! He started opening the drawers and about 3 drawers down was the young couple's 6 month old baby (in a blanket no less!!!) And she was fine!!! The tornado had literally picked her up and tossed her gently into a dresser that it had already discharged and closed the drawer over top of her and the dresser kept her safe from flying debris!!! Now...if that's not far more bizarre than this story is then I don't know what is!!! The news stations called it an act of God because it clearly saved that baby from any harm! When I saw this on the news back then I almost choked on my morning coffee!!! Talk about a miracle!

I thought the same when I saw that. But now I suspect the reporter was protecting her, actually...when she realized that Jasmine was struggling to relay something she very likely is still processing and re-living in her mind over and over. The reporter's question wasn't an easy one. I think she was giving her an out so her mind didn't have to go to those dark places on tv. I think that she was looking out for her.
The reporter also seemed upset, in fairness. It can't be easy to witness such trauma. I bet she promised people that any interview would be really quick and that if the stress level rose, she would wrap it up straight away.
She was a brave young lady, and she said she walked. Remember, when you go through a ordeal like she did, the person is in SHOCK. People in Shock, have walked away with broken necks, arms, legs, cuts, abrasions, all sorts of injuries. So she was tossed out side, and was able to get up and walk on a broken leg. Shock did that. Body was in shock mode. And to live to tell about it, is by God's grace. God is with all those people who lost their homes, businesses, and loved ones, and some pets. He will not abandon them. Spiritually, he will make sure they get the comfort they need. They will have to live with this nightmare for a long time. If they can get proper help they will get it. If they don't want it cause they are being charged (which is evil if some doctors do) knowing their circumstances. It's their decisions. But she is still in semi shock. So glad to have heard her story of how she survived these tornado's!
Friends, I say this in love that none more perish. What happened is because God is very tired of the unrepentant people treating what happened to HIS Son as if it is meaningless. Because they refuse to repent by taking John's baptism of repentance according to Acts2:38 as commanded in Acts17:30. Please read Mark16:16 and Acts17:30 and Matthew3:11. Unless everyone everywhere repent they will perish! People who refuse will incur God's wrath because they're mocking God's Son Jesus Christ. By acting like what he did, his blood and suffering isn't important. People do not understand that God is a HOLY SPIRIT and ALL people fall short of achieving God's glorious standards which is why God in HIS LOVE sent HIS only begotten Son Jesus.. Jesus ( through his blood atonement to appease God ) became the mediator who stands BETWEEN God and US. Jesus stands between God and those who believe ( repent ) Without Jesus Christ the wrath of God is apon you and you will perish and be cast into eternal hellfire come judgement day. Repent by going to the river "confessing your sins" because Jesus can't help those who think they're righteous!... God's Son Jesus come for those who know they're sinners next to a perfect God...and take John's baptism of repentance according to Acts2:38 for the forgiveness of your sins and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Jesus said those who believe in him even though they yet die they will yet live. Believe this? Jesus come to bring "sinners" to repentance and reconcile them back to God. Repent friends, Time is short.
You were making sense until you went into god mode. I guess your god hated all the people who died and lost their children and loved ones. Plus of course, everything they owned.

I remember news stations all over the US asking if they could interview me as a Cat 5 was barrelling through my home/community. I was trying to save some of the people in my community, get them to better shelter as they didn't have the means. The last thing I wanted was to waste my time being exploited. The high majority of residents on the island didn't talk to news crew except, only a rare few that had evacuated multiple states away and welcomed the attention, most likely sought the reporters out . So happy this brave woman is alive to tell her story. I hope time is gracious in healing her wounds.

If you have nowhere else that you can go in a tornado, a bathtub could prove to be your lifeline. They are not the best means of protecting yourself from tornadoes, but they do have a history of being effective in a pinch. People have been killed in their tubs, and most people who shelter there are at least injured, but the survival stories are noteworthy. They're safer than much of the rest of the house.
I've read at least 4 stories about people surving f3, f4, and f5's by hiding in bathtub and covering themselves with mattresses, One guy in Joplin tornado flew through the air in his bathtub with one hand holding mattress over it and everything was fine but his hand which required mutiple stitches and a cast,

@@TTheBiehlster that’s exactly right!
Poor girl I'm glad she made it out okay, praying she makes a full recovery ♥♥♥♥♥
You're so pretty. Happy Holidays; I subbed.🌹
Y’all both sound crazy there is no god 😩
@@uwu1832 That's *your* opinion and you don't need to bully those of us who believe.
You were making sense until you went into god mode. I guess your god hated all the people who died and lost their children and loved ones. Plus of course, everything they owned.

My heart is flooding with tears 🥲Lord thank you for this miracle..
what a nightmare. It would be nice to know if she is staying in a shelter or how they're looking after the victims of the disaster.
It's my understanding they really don't have any place to go. No big stadium or large buildings left
People are burning their belonging to stay warm. Nowhere to go.
They want the "survivors" to go to a FEMA camps. Which is the worst place for them to be. FEMA camps are concentration camps. If they go in, the odds of them coming out are 0.
@@JenFromCa84 I'm in Mayfield and if anybody is burning their things to stay warm it is only by choice. There is a place for everybody to go. They are putting people in motels/hotels free of charge and there are many shelters at churches and other places. Many of us have damaged houses but they are still standing. We are staying warm with generators that churches are loaning out.
@@origirox There are some buildings left. They have put people in motels/hotels in the surrounding area. There are also warm shelters and hot food at many of the local churches. Nobody is being overlooked. If they need something all they have to do is ask.

When the power is out in that situation, it's going to be pitch black, so much debris, steel, and nails sticking out, it's a damn miracle she made it to someone for help. Very sweet woman, I hope she can heal from this mentally and physically.
Very nice of you to be concerned for her. You seem to be a caring person. I have a question for you why would you use The D word with miracle?

Same here. I had to pray for her. You can tell she is not doing well.
I’m glad you’re alive and have minor injuries considering the size and destruction of this tornado.
During the Ringgold, GA tornado, a local school teacher says “I was taking a shower, next thing I knew I was sliding down road and tumbling” she got up and went to a house, and still naked. They say she was thrown about 200 yards. She was badly bruised and several broken bones but still lived through it.
😳 Her car was in her living room and found she had ended up in the woods!! She was still in a state of shock during this interview. Her whole town will be suffering from the distressing symptoms of ptsd. I hope she is holding up alright a week later and her family too!! She is so brave and courageous. God bless her and keep her safe 🙏❤
my heart goes out to this young lady. I just want to hug her. she is a brave soul. I hope she realizes how brave she is.
I’m so glad she’s ok this is a terrible situation for everyone
Prayers for this woman and everyone affected by this tornado. Seeing the footage on here is nothing you have to see it in person to see just what these people are going through. Super close. I've been antiquing in Paris.
We're in Dresden. Community is so important in these times. Thankfully we were outside Dresden and faired ok.
What, I've never heard so many stories of people/families being actually inside the twister, spit out and survive as I've heard this week. What a story to tell .
These stories are rare, I would love to hear their stories!

I wish the newscaster had not cut her off. I was interested in hearing how this event affected her psychology. And talking, just for a few moments more might have helped her some--rather than cutting her short. She is the 2nd survivor I've heard who said they couldn't sleep.

Wow. This poor babe. She is one strong, gentle soul. I'm so happy for her and her family she's survived. She is still in shock. I know the news wants to report the most intimate, dramatic stories, but they need to be more humane when approaching these victims.
Well said.
That poor girl! So glad she made it out alive and hope the woman she heard was able to be rescued.
I can't imagine being thrown that way, tossed like a rag doll! I hope these folks all have warm places to shelter while they try to recover.

What was going through your mind? Um lady I went from my bathroom to the woods in 3.5 seconds. What do you think? Brave woman.

Such a strong young lady. God continue to give her and others strength to make it through.
I've read at least 4 stories about people surving f3, f4, and f5's by hiding in bathtub and covering themselves with mattresses, One guy in Joplin tornado flew through the air in his bathtub with one hand holding mattress over it and everything was fine but his hand which required mutiple stitches and a cast,
Very grateful they made it alive as well, but what is your point?
