@Franciumflourine Great card synergies, lots of fun viable decks (I 7 won with almost every color pie presented in the format), fun deck building mechanics like delerium and manifest, solid removal, fun bomb cards to build decks around, etc.
@@Franciumflourine To be honest I think what really makes duskmourn a truly perfect draft format is *because* it isn't perfectly balanced. Perfect balance is boring, almost sterile. The power swings and excitement of opening a bomb and feeling its power when you play it, or the tension of playing against an opponent with a bomb and you have none while simultaneously always having a chance because every color combo and archetype is viable, and there aren't really any true dud, useless cards in the entire set, not even starting on how flawlessly the mechanics and flavor blend together, it all adds up to me to being a truly special draft set
@@Franciumflourine I can't think of any recent set that wasn't rife with swingy bombs.... My only complaint is that the UR room deck isn't viable. was very psyched for it.
The treason effect is called Vengeful possession, costs 2R and besides stealings oppose creature lets you rummage. Wrath effect is called Split up - destroy all untapped OR tapped creatures 1WW. Also Watz of rage, target creature deals its power in damage to each other creature, until end of turn if a creature you control dies, exiles a card that you can play until end of turn 3RR That's the ones I remember.
I appreciate the Magic content on YT! Kaizo is nice to watch if it works, but I don't really enjoy the grind. That said, have you ever tried Pokémon escape rooms? This might be quite fitting to you and is very fun to watch from time to time.
Wish I had been playing MTG during this set. Everyone seems to love it. Alas, not going to take my learning lumps for a week of drafting. I can watch though!
I’m a noob but managed to go 7 wins 3 in a row with red black on the quick draft. Then managed to get a very solid blue white deck with ghostly dancers which went 0-3! Thought it was another 7 winner for sure
Kaizo is super fun to watch on stream but it loses appeal in VOD. MtG drafts/sealed I can look around in the video, check out individual games, or just watch the draft and check the record at the end if I don't have time to watch the whole thing,
Duskmourn is my favorite set and format in a LONG time, I'm glad to see you drafting it on this flashback
Same here. This format and kamigawa have been my fav on arena. Could watch another 50 videos of Duskmourn draft.
What did you like about it? I thought it was cool flavourwise and often fun but all the random one card win the games often made game play swingy

Premier drafts are available for DSK. You have to click on limited events to get to it
