Very good trucks, however nothing is constructed for eternity. This engine is tired and probably worn and neglected in such a way it is totally run until the very end. That’s what you see all the time in bankrupt Russia and its former Sovjet republics. So basically these designs were state of the art, designed when Russia was still an empire. Very little has been preserved and this truck shows clearly how run down everything is, apart from Moscow that is. That’s where the money goes to, the rest of Russia is not even a shadow of what it once was.
@@leyland9999 no the engine is really shit from factory and when in normal condition,also smokes,though not so badly when its warmed up,but still in traffic jams,its like a public humiliation stand.
Bad injector(s), bad injection pump, bad compression of one or more cylinders, very wrong timing and probably a combination of several or all possible causes mentioned. And the list may be even longer. Old and tired, ready for the scrap heep or some tlc. The latter is very unlikely!

Why many Kamaz trucks smokes so badly ? Is Kamaz 740 engine so bad on burning oil or is this only caused by worn out engine?
