Kripp actually dealt 25 damage to his own face this game through flame imps and lifetap this game. Opponent only damaged face once with a 3/3, and kripps at 4 hp at the end lol
He was being tenacious, thats all. I mean, that sort of play couldve easily happpened on ladder in a normal zoo deck and no one would complain. He even pointed out why his opponent shouldnt have death
+Lucid Dream Dont you know that all mages have wyrm and frostbolt in their hands from start, priests have northshires, warlocks have imps, warriors got fiery winaxe etc because magic
***** "So. I went and watched a video on kripp's channel, and I was SUPER SURPRISED that the people who frequent Kripp's comment section like Kripp! It's weird right?" Seriously man, you have to EXPECT Kripp fans to be here. What's wrong with you? lol
+AQWicko thats me when i need to clear the board and....don't get my fucking holy nova I'm like ...cmon holy nova..nope Pleeeeease holy nova .. Nope Holy nova or I'm dead ............northshire cleric.......ghaaaa
If Kripp was playing the priest in this match you know he would still be calling bullshit. "OMG THIS WARLOCK HAS SO MUCH DAMAGE! WHERES MY HOLA NOVA? I DRAFTED 9 HOLY NOVAS AND NOT A SINGLE ONE HAS BEEN DRAWN? TOP DECK MORTAL COIL ARE YOU SERIOUS?"
As someone new to hearthstone, I find Kripp's explanations at the start to be the more valuable and interesting parts of the video. I respect that for someone who's been playing hearthstone since it came out they may seem repetitive and a bit dull, but I think he does that just for those like me who, without his preamble, would really struggle to follow the real value and awesomeness of most of his plays. Great job Kripp, keep it up :)
Even Kripp himself, caster at the biggest Hearthstone Tournament ever held, frequently, and even during the tournament itself, remarks on how luck based much of the game is. Luckily for Blizzard, most of the players are still too stupid to pick up on this.
90% Luck, 70% Experience, 60% Skill and 20% Alcohol But seriously, card games always have a big potion of luck involved. However, Hearthstone is probably one of the top 3 skillbased card games right now.
+Oncoming Storm the priest was topdecking and had all the cards needed every turn to survive with all these rediculus counterplays i think kripp deseved that one lucky turn
Kripp's opponent is like "this guy's curving out perfectly, good one, good two, good three, turn after turn after turn, win more card after win more card, answer after answer after answer"
Priest on turn 3: Oh, btw, I have a death, just letting you know. (By trading for the 4/3 flame imp instead of the 5/4 one.) Kripp on turn 5-6: What? You have a death? How is this possible?! Should probably pay attention when people tell you things...
Gold Roger It's at 5 wins, so it's unreasonable to think it's a misplay. And yes, him not noticing it is exactly the problem I'm pointing to here =) I also have a ~69-70% win rate in arena, so I think he's a bit better than me, but not too much. Not that that's particularly relevant.
Nice one! I don't play much anymore and only played the 1 deck when I did. It's good seeing other decks in action and good to see his defense backfire on him. He probably does win a lot with that deck and finally met his match.
WTF are you talking about? Have you ever played Heartstone? He is playing arena a game mode where you craft from random cards and lose the deck after 3 loses. He has only won 5 or 6 games with the deck the priest made. Also every class other than hunter is good in Arena right now and it's basically been this way since the start so i don't know wtf you are talking about when you say good to see other decks in action.
Epic Ummmm...it's not hard to figure out when I said "I only played the 1 deck..". These 4 words would indicate that I haven't seen a lot from the other decks. Should I have eluded to the fact I only played hunter? I assumed others could work it out, seeing I liked this game because it showed classes I haven't seen much good play from, that eliminates two classes right there. And a quick look at my channel would give away the rest. Or pehaps I should have gone into finer detail still and straight out said, "I don't understand the other classes a lot because I only play hunter." One of the best ways to understand other classes is to see them played, they didn't just pluck the phrase "Monkey see monkey do" from nothing. So, sorry I stumped your feeble mind. By the way, you "draft" in arena, not craft. Most videos that show up are only videos where the player is lucky enough to be able to draft for a class they know well and know what cards to pick when they do so. So after a while all the arena decks tend to form patterns and obtain nick names the more common cards they share. You don't see many videos where they say "Fuck I have no idea about any of these classes" and then film and upload it. And where is the info on his opponent? Can you reference the opponent's win rate you quoted? Use your brain and think for 2 seconds before attacking people.
MPAH1981 There are only two general kinds of decks for each class in arena because of how random the drafting process is, they are control or rush. If you are able to draft a deck that you are able to name more specifically you are looking at 1/100 draft. And about the opponents win rate, in arena you only play opponents with around the same amount of wins as you, Kripp had 6 that means the opponent probably had 5 or 6, simple. I would comment more about arena but you obviously know fuck all about it so why even try. Ehhhh even worse part is that you tried to play off changing "I only played the one deck" to "I only play one class" like it was no big deal and you fucking did it in the same comment, you contradicted yourself in a span of 3 sentences and then you call me stupid...... Holy shit you're dumb. If you just said "I only played one class" from the beginning this all would have been avoided and understandable. Because there's a huge difference between a class and a specific deck. And you even make reference later to knowing the difference between classes and specific decks but you're obviously not at fault for messing that up in the first place. You kept going spewing shit like you know the game when you know fuck all. You're the worst.
Epic I'll be the first to admit I know fuck all about the game, but I pulled you up on some pretty basic shit. If you're as knowledgeable as you make out, then you should have figured it out. Quite easy to assume that 1 deck means 1 class, I don't know anyone who would say that then have someone come along and assume they play every class the same way. I didn't put the initial comment up with any sort of hate or negativity and your arrogant arse decides to come charging in like it was invited. Why assume he played the same opponent? How do you know that wasn't the priest's first or second loss in a while? May have been that the priest was on a win streak even, it's just an average. RNG is a strange beast indeed. Someone has to be in front otherwise no one would progress. If you're not going to keep the hate out and just be willing to have a discussion, don't even bother replying. It's pricks like you that ruin the game. I'm just simply not interested in dealing with people like you, no matter how much they know.
You are contradicting yourself again. ". Quite easy to assume that 1 deck means 1 class, I don't know anyone who would say that then have someone come along and assume they play every class the same way." First, a class and a specific deck are totally different. And in the first comment you did reference to one deck being played a specific way when you said "It's good seeing other decks in action and good to see his defense backfire on him." because you are referencing a control deck. So please stop with the whole class and deck debate because you didn't make any sense in your first comment at all. And about the other players wins I never said Kripp played the same opponent, all I am saying is since Kripp 6-0 it's easy to assume the other player is around 5-1, 5-2, 6-1, 6-2 after Kripp's game, you made it seem he had been playing that priest deck for years now stomping kids and Kripp was his first loss..... just saying.
I lost a game once when the warrior i played against top decked big game hunter and also had time rewinder to kill both my big creatures... and he had 1 hp..
This is probably the worst game I've ever seen you play, you played into holy novas the whole game and if he would have draw 1 it would have been istant loss for you. You don't deserve my dislike today.
You shouldn't play around potential top decks unless you're far ahead, which Kripp wasn't. If you know the opponent doesn't have holy nova in hand, you shouldn't fear the card. As Warlock you need to be courageous: play into cards the opponent could top deck, life tap till your super low. You can't be scared of him top decking holy nova/ holy fire. If he top decks you, then power to him. You need to make the play that brings you the win, not the play that just keeps you alive for a few more turns.
lkjkhfggd You play around topdecks if those causes you to instant lose in an even scenario(also because it was very easy to play around it) and an holy nova is one of the best basic priest card so the chance that the opponent had one in his deck was incredibly high. If he would have been less focused on dropping big minions to threat lethal he would have had a way easier time winning.
Big deal if holy nova is a top basic card pick. So is polymorph, and Mage doesn't always have that either. The card might be in his deck, maybe, but that doesn't somehow mean he has a super high chance of topdecking it. As soon as you know 100% the opponent doesn't have some particular card in his hand, you should take advantage of that knowledge. Playing it slow and safe just gives him a chance to make a comeback (or get ahead if the game was even). The way you play arena isn't necessarily wrong, but it's cowardly.
lkjkhfggd Playing it slow and safe would have gave him the chance to enstablish his borad better and getting a better value from the cult master for example. Filling the board with minions and hoping that your opponent doesn't draw an answer is the tipical noob tactic that gets you just lucky wins and Krip knows it better than me.
While watching this game I was like "meh, that happens to me all the time, my opponent always draws into his best cards when he needs them". And then when it ended I saw it was an actual ARENA. Holy shit, this guy... two Deaths, two Cabals, two Thoughtsteals, Shadow Madness, Defender... this is a constructed deck. :|

Someone should register Kripp complaining, and have the complains played back at Kripp himself when he gets lucky. Every time Kripp would play the last card he drew, he would here himself yelling "Perfect topdeck! Are you serious? That guy's deck is insane!" Every time he would play a card more than twice (more than once for really good cards), he would here is own voice, "What? Another [insane card], are you kidding me? How can he only be [current score of the Arena run]?" Man, that would be something.
This ''game'' (aka match , whatever you call it) was not about luck , it was depending on the other guy and Kripp:s skills. I totally wasted 30 seconds typing this , so here is a shorter version : Look at that nickname
For all ppl arguing that the game is just RNG let me give examples that even there are times that you are gonna lose hands down due to RNG you can plan ahead and dont allow your opponet to steal your victory. First of all you try to counter "bad"RNG ,by playing on curve , with the way you setup your deck and mullingan i.e. hunter vs mage you mulligan for flare, druid vs zoo you mulligan for innervate and wrath Zoo deck has the success it has beacuse it the least draw dependant deck imo. When you play zoo against mage and you have board control you dont commit more to board cause they always have a chance to top deck flamestrike and by not commiting is how you play around it. Ragnaros and sylvanas are pure RNG and thas why ppl make smart trades so they can get the desired outcome from their effects, especially when it comes to sylvanas i ve seen insane plays!
Is anyone else confused why he keeps saying "the only thing left in my deck is flame imps" when he stated he has 4 and had played 3? And then is surprised each time its not flame imps?
The fact he missed lethal at by 10 mins sorta made me lose it. He goes on about how the priest survives for so long when he could've wasted his last 9hp with a Voidcaller and Stormwind to the face and a Shadowbolt. If I'm mad with someone and can kill them, I'ma do it fast!
Kripp actually dealt 25 damage to his own face this game through flame imps and lifetap this game. Opponent only damaged face once with a 3/3, and kripps at 4 hp at the end lol

So true when kripp draws an awesome card. "Oh just part of my strategy..." when kripps opponent gets a good draw... "how lucky can he be.?"
jose carlos The "Oh just part of my strategy" part is a joke though..

For the last two turns I was chanting "Holy Nova Holy Nova Holy Nova" out loud at my monitor.
mindblast at the end would have made this the best hearthstone video ever
I loved how you reacted when he dropped the second cabal priest! :D Very enjoyable game to watch!

kripp.. It hurts my soul to see you smile.. Thank you for all your vids
If he top decks you, then power to him. You need to make the play that brings you the win, not the play that just keeps you alive for a few more turns.
its arena, holy nova is not guaranteed to be in a priest deck. and he did check for holy nova and when it wasn't there, he flooded.
lkjkhfggd You play around topdecks if those causes you to instant lose in an even scenario(also because it was very easy to play around it) and an holy nova is one of the best basic priest card so the chance that the opponent had one in his deck was incredibly high. First of all you try to counter "bad"RNG ,by playing on curve , with the way you setup your deck and mullingan i.e. hunter vs mage you mulligan for flare, druid vs zoo you mulligan for innervate and wrath
Zoo deck has the success it has beacuse it the least draw dependant deck imo.
When you play zoo against mage and you have board control you dont commit more to board cause they always have a chance to top deck flamestrike and by not commiting is how you play around it.
Ragnaros and sylvanas are pure RNG and thas why ppl make smart trades so they can get the desired outcome from their effects, especially when it comes to sylvanas i ve seen insane plays!
literally the funniest video of you ive ever watched!!! xD
2:56 should've played the Flame Imp for a triple and discover a Soul Juggler.
The priest guy's id means "Crazy cat"
I thought Kripp should let katirian play.
Then Austin Powers walks up behind Krupp and says, "Why won't you die!"
Still Alive? It's Aperture Science
lol that guy wasnt going down without a fight
Always to see someone finally die to cancer... he was a fighter.
Why didn't he trade the Harvest Golem for the 5/4 Flame Imp?
He had death to use on it if he needed was his reasoning
Kripp you have such a pretty cat at the start of the video.
Does Kripp only shows the games where he wins?
You know that if even Kripp describes himself as being animated then he's going to be salty as fuck for this match!
Is anyone else confused why he keeps saying "the only thing left in my deck is flame imps" when he stated he has 4 and had played 3? And then is surprised each time its not flame imps?
0:44 kripp put your food away dont just leave it there
Was anyone else just staring at Kappa Cat through the intro?
(◕‿◕✿) Positive Ambience (◕‿◕✿) Kripp is good at game! (◕‿◕✿) Topdeck shall happen (◕‿◕✿) Life is good
The fact he missed lethal at by 10 mins sorta made me lose it. He goes on about how the priest survives for so long when he could've wasted his last 9hp with a Voidcaller and Stormwind to the face and a Shadowbolt. If I'm mad with someone and can kill them, I'ma do it fast!
You can't shadow bolt face
Ach, right. That explains. Dumb me..
When you are so mad you take a minion attacking card, scribble out the text and throw it at face.
Sounds like something I'd do.
that win 6 gatekeeper haha
I liked your cat at the beginning of the video. What's his name?
his name is cattarian
Kattarian
