Benny, I know you've been looking for a replacement for stompies, why don't you try out it's little brother the frostees? I've been using it recently and it's really good, more mobility when you dodge and extra ability cool down while sprinting? It's awesome.

They decreased special ammo to try and focus primary weapons, but all that did was "force" people choose the cheesier special ammo weapons and to also favor a more passive or evasive playstyle, which is exactly why invis hunter + omni is so oppressive, because of the additional damage resistance and being invis gives you a better opportunity to use your special weapon. They changed how flinch works, which then "forced" people to choose the weapons with least flinch. They introduced in air accuracy penalties, which then "forced" people to choose the weapons/exotics least effected or not at all. It's really just limited the options for PvP players in order to avoid the "nerfs" that occured.
PvP players will absolutely work around every single method Bungie tries to implement to control the meta, because all the meta ever does is shift. It can never be removed in a sandbox like Destiny. Certain things will just objectively be better in PvP no matter how much they shift them around, as PvP players will just switch to the things that are the best. The PvP community will NEVER be fully satisfied because it's an impossible task. Destiny PvP has been "shit" since its inception because every "meta" has sucked, because everyone running the "meta" is stale and boring. Might as well just focus on building for PvE and let PvP be whatever the fuck it's going to be, because people are going to (rightfully) complain regardless.
I'm not trying to shit on PvP at all... I wish it was better too. I think the only possible saving grace is actually completely splitting the two and adjusting for PvE and PvP independently. Yes, they've recently been making strides to do this but as we see it isn't really working so far, and the half measures they've been able to implement haven't done much good.

Not gonna lie, people who use crutch weapons like LOW and Lorentz paired with Omni or Splendor are the reason PvP is unenjoyable for a lot of casual players.

Because that’s the meta, and they’re constantly going up against that stuff game after game if they used normal stuff it would make it unnecessarily hard and not to mention the more people that abuse the meta the faster bungie Will catch on and finally nerf it. They’re handicapping themselves if all they do is run load outs that you approve of because everyone else will still be running omni/Low/classy restoration ect..

Being invisible the entire time and using map exploits doesn't make you the best.
I can't look at diff stats it hurts my head... 130k hc 92k shotgun... only 350k kills in pvp about 50% if his kills are hc shotgun.. but looking at his pass games scared me for life. he haven't used any other guns in trails most day besides low.. and average 1 or 0 hc kills a game.. His 2nd highest primary kill is 3k... all primary together (none hc) is only 13k... he got more melee kills then all other primary combined in the game.......
