Oh boy, just what I didn't need - another Enabler on the internet! I just ordered one of these :-) I have a number of Toms products and they are great. His Pro-Flex feed is astounding. He designed and manufactured the feed unit and it is brilliant, no railroading or ink starvation when fully flexed. Best of all, Tom is a local lad so I enjoy supporting him! Thanks for a great vid!
Dear Ash, I really appreciate your approach to promote „good quality for money“-pieces and to invest once instead of rebuying multiple times.. we both support regional manufacturers, due to the fact that Kaweko is based in Heidelberg, where I live nearby, I’ll stick to it… I prefer german or uk-products over all the others; your work is highly regarded! 🇩🇪🇬🇧
I love my Kaweco and use it daily, but I am not ashamed to say that this Tom's Studio pen has soundly beaten my Kaweco in all aspects of use.
Very tempted by this as a little present to myself. Thanks for making recommendations that are not commercially motivated, very rare these days 🙏👏
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks Ash, I always appreciate new entries to my collection and this will be a must add. Brilliant job as usual!
My pleasure!
I have a Montblanc Boheme as a pocket/travel pen. My wife bought it for my birthday in the early 2000s. It’s never worked well. Actually, it’s never worked at all. Leave it more than a day or two and it won’t write at all. I’d like another pocket pen but I’m not sure I would use it enough to allow it to work reliably
Thank you, that was highly informative and unbiased.
Glad you enjoyed it!
@@TheChapsGuide I enjoyed it so much I went and bought one!
Whilst I’m not in the market for another pen (I already have many I don’t use!) I do like the look of this. I had a look at Tom’s website, and see that he has designed and manufactured a whole range of writing and drawing equipment - and it all looks exquisite! Great to see another British company producing well engineered items! I wish them every success!
Thanks Ash, I appreciated this heads up ! Cam
Entirely agree, l chose the architect nib which gives wonderful line variation. I wasn’t aware that it was an eye-dropper, thanks.
Good bit of kit, well presented and described. British company too.
Ash looks like a great little traveling pen. Cheers Ron
Dear Ash, it is a lovely pen. In the past i used pocket fountain pens. But now i EDC a pen pouch with "normal" length pen. At this moment i carry the Pelican M1000, K800 (Ballpoint), Montegrappa Harry Potter and the Faber Castell e-motion. I just find normal pens better than my pocket pens.
Love the pen videos!
Glad you like them!
Thanks for sharing and that is a great pen at a great price like my most expensive Fisher space pen was at one point $65 and is also all metal. Unlike other futin pens that are over $100 for plastic. Edit : Oh you said Pounds my bad but still at $100 not bad price for the pen your getting.
Just purchased one 👌
Hope you enjoy it!
Another quality made in UK product - Added to my santa list
When we 'put it together' we are posting, so we post it.
Thank you for your research. Question: what size NutSac did you purchase?
Tacsac 13
My EDC pen is Waldmann Füller in steriling silver.
Obviously that “outdoor table“ was indispensable today as you were doing a pen review and needed a table to lay your journals on🤣🤣🤣🤣.
Some people🤷🙄.
Can we obtain on line?
Yes
