ICP is way ahead of all cryptos
Because icp nns is the only real crypto. Bitcoin opened the door but bitcoin was only the 1st piece to the equation. Icp solved the equation and essentially opened the door to web 3 what crypto was meant to be!❤

No surprises why this amazing project was tarnished and called a scam the technology is nothing short of outstanding.
It’s gonna be hard to take on the big corporates they obviously see this as a massive threat!
Only issue would be unfortunately large Co’s like Amazon (servers) WANTS the flow through. They’re holding all the cards. The game is rigged. Unless ICP properly incentivizes adoption, they will never succeed against the gate keeping incumbent businesses.
Decentralized building at the core risks naivety at the core.

Very interesting video, it is really incredible technology. The only thing I see is that 1) the centralization is gigantic and 2) the ID is not anonymous at all. Or am I wrong? If so, please explain to me or show me a video with those 2 points that I see as very weak.

True, that’s why ICP had so much heat coming from all directions, because they are scared to lose their monopoly in „WEB3-Services“ which is fraudulent centralization at this point. ICP will win if we as humble humans use it as much as possible! Tell your friends ^^
yes that is what I thought but there could also be a way in between. Think of cars: You have Ford, Toyota, Tesla, BMW etc. It is not that only one car company must win. It could be that various crypto coins become big?

Can someone explain what Dom is saying when he says on Solana is on AWS, and the developer can just forget to pay the bill and your NFT disappears? He says your NFT's aren't on the blockchain, which I also don't understand. Can someone elaborate?
He is saying Solana is not truly decentralized. Your NFT, let's say is an image of a monkey. NFT token is issued on Solana blockchain and the metadata and image is stored in AWS S3 buckets. We'll you have to pay rent to AWS to keep that NFT alive and present. That defeats the purpose of NFTs and tokens because the idea is to be permanent on the blockchain forever.

ADA and ICP are true underdogs and I for one would love for them to team up for a championship run!
Won't an icp service need a firewall to prevent a canister from having all of its cycles consumed?
I heard that the smart contract will alert the creator when its about 80% consumed, so the creator can react on time to fill it up. A firewall is not needed for that, and there is no need for firewall in general with this type of technology. But im not a expert.

Thats a good point, but I guess he means that you dont need firewalls to protect a canister from viruses/hacks (things that manipulate the code from running as intended). DDOS protection is still needed but cycles can be auto topped up forever if a community desires.
