Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia - Unused Skills [Hack]
Вставка
- Опубліковано 18 чер 2017
- In this video, I show off several skills and combat arts that exist in the game data, but are not accessible via gameplay.
Note 1: Multiple hacks were used to make it easier to record footage. For example, modification of enemy stats, items and skill costs.
Note 2: A couple of skills do not have names and/or descriptions, so I added them myself for illustrative purposes. (Speculum is not one of these.)
Note 3: There is also a Wrath skill that doesn't seem to do anything. Its description claims that it boosts critical when under half HP. - Ігри
The Falchion SHOULD have had Anti-Dragon. Kinda dumb that it doesn't, considering it has consistently been a dragon nuke since the very beginning up until now.
AcePlasmius I think the Kingsfang/Valentian Falchion was exclusively designed for Mila and Duma due to them being the only "dragons" in the game (until act 6 but that's just a bit of long time fanfare with returning to Archanea)
So maybe with the godslayer or anti-god tag it can only kill Divine Dragons (being from that tribe)
It has anti-terror, and I believe every dragon that appears in the game aside from Duma/Mila/Grima are listed as "great terror"s, so it boils down to the same thing
@@Iamawesome79850 Some post game dragons like the fire dragons are not considered terrors
Lethality for 10HP?!?!?!? No wonder some of these skills went unused!
But Aptitude would be great for villagers, and Charm a great support Skill. The others seem pretty much OP
Vongola Primo KHR I agree but why the fuck did they make a ring that makes you unable to use magic?! It doesn't even give you recovery.
***** But couldn't they just make the priestess not have any tomes on her?
Nobody uses tomes in echoes....though it's still stupid.
Gystes __ I meant magic lol
Hmm I wonder what the skill Attack Twice does.
Attack Twice
Oh
Isn't Attack Twice the same as Double Lion though? If it is, I'm glad, cuz "Attack Twice" is funny, but oh so stupid.
Quickest Zero Double lion also boosts damage, hit, and crit
Quickest Zero Double Lion is a Combat Art, where Attack Twice is a passive effect, literally the effect of Brave weapons in other Fire Emblem games. And it has the ability to quad strike because of that.
Ah, I guess I missed the part about it being a passive skill. I guess I was confused since there are multiple weapons in the game that teach units a Brave-like skill.
Anti-mortals would've made shadow sword so much more usable
Some of these I don't understand why they didn't get in, like the halve-weapons skills would make some enemies much tougher. Some on the other hand, make sense. Like trading 10 HP for a Guaranteed Lethality, even ill admit thats just insane.
in some cases it's good imo, also it's not like yuo cant just heal it with physic or anything. (when someone from your team uses it)
Eri Otto He's saying the cost is way too low.
Yes, i noticed as well after some time of my comment, i guess i shouldnt comment right after i woke up since then i dont read carefully. lol
The problem is that their not arts, their skills. Like Vantage.
So instead of giving us a ring to help with growth rates.....they made us have to track down a bunch of damn shards AND a black pearl, dlc only stuff.......
WTF!?
but Nintendo has to sell us overpriced dlc's how else are they going to get more money
The funny part is that Echoes doesn't even have overpriced DLC, in fact its some of the cheapest DLC of the three 3DS games
Idranoid remember awakening's retarded number of dlc's holy shit fuck that game
To make things worse, a similar item existed in the original gaiden.
fates had cheaper dlc
Paragon, Anti-Dragon would've been SO SO useful.
Anti-Dragon would've helped SO much in the post game.
Yes because those bs dragons in the post-game dungeon is overpowered.
but then where's the challenge
i don't understand why don't they call the skill "dragon slayer"
Probably for the sake of consistency. All the anti skills contain that naming pattern.
Any last words?
No!
Forgive me.
It's funny how there's no animation for Counter so Gray just loses HP like nothing's happening XD
Celica wielding Exalted Falchion.
We should've gotten a ring with Aptitude for beating Grima instead of that really weird "shuffle growths" gimmick ring tbh
WHY WERE WE DEPRIVED OF VANTAGE
because vantage is fuckin annoying and like everything in this game, if you can have it, most of the enemies you'll fight can have it too
@@JTF544 😂 Angry?
Imo lethality should've had a flat hit rate as well as perhaps a higher hp cost because 10 seems too lenient. I'm intrigued that most of the comments here so far also agree that 10 is too little a cost.
Alex Trin Lethality would have to have a hit rate of like 30% or lower and ignore supports to be balanced. Instakilling an enemy shouldn't be reliable at all.
This would have broke the game if some of those skill were still usable on it, besides maybe anti-dragon, I would really had like to see that skill in the game.
Paragon is DLC-bait waiting to happen.
I'd rather have Vantage as dlc. Vantage for everyone.
MegaMaster1021 Vantage Saber with 100 Crit.
I know this is an old video. But to those who don't under stand most of these skills have been a staple skill way before awakening . In fact it all started in Fire emblem 4. In fact I was surprised that Nihil was not added. That skill would have been useful for Celica route.
Paragon would have been an awesome Exemplar passive.
Attack twice looks like a pointer to the actual brave weapon effect.
Aptitude might have went unused because it could be that it was supposed to be used instead of the Star Shards.
Charm would also have been an awesome Exemplar passive.
Lethality went unused because it's overpowered as shit.
Counter would have been an awesome passive though.
Speculum looks awesome, but it was probably unused because of Duma.
Halve Swords and Halve Lances might have been intended to be used for the Baron overclass.
Anti-Mages would have made Jedah a lot more easier to kill.
Anti-Mortals well rest in peace yoour party.
Anti-Dragons... I don't know. I think it would be nice to actually have it.
Anti-Gods is probably a pointer to an unused effect of the two Falchion's and the Binding Blade.
- Paragon would have been an excelent pasive to both Zeke (Camus) and Mycen.
- Aptitude would have made sense for Delthea , exclusively because she's a pain in the ass to train... and the prodigy stuff.
- Charm is a dead give away to Genealogy, why wasn't included for Alm and Celica? We may never know.
- Anti-Dragons, of all the slayer pasives, this would have made sense for Alm and his Falchion to have. Just making it uneffective to Duma and it would have been balanced.
- Halve passives, perfect to make some enemies even tougher.
- The Mirror Shield and its Speculum skill would have been a beautiful addition, just make Duma not to fall for it. Also, making the pay for it a bit higher, like 10 HP, would further the balance.
vantage, counter and aptitude are in the game AND functioning? why the fuck did we not get that? hell, I'd even be down for vantage, counter and the half-skills being enemy exclusive, would make for a more interesting lunatic playthrough. oh wait, we DON'T FUCKING HAVE LUNATIC MODE.
TheMike0088 vantage and aptitude would have ruined the game, same with paragon the whole point is to avoid having broken characters in the game
@@corncobber636 Do you think it could've been canon if the characters having these skills would be on par with other broken fe units?
@@ChaolaoFueChi No. Radiant Dawn, Three heroes and awakening too much broken.
Any enemy unit: *Goes up to Genny*
Genny: *Fucking obliterates the into nothing*
Also Genny: “Ahhh I’m tuckered out”
So, Attack Twice is just a non-Alm version of Double Lion.
The King's Love is For His People Well, it's also a passive effect, so it lets you double attack with your double attack.
Oh, cool. So it's a non-Gaiden Brave Sword effect.
Speculum would have been so useful for Clive and his 1 Res (in my game).
That's pretty much why they removed it. They knew that giving the player a skill like that when on both sides, magic is extremely valuable, would make the game too easy.
Paragon Ring could be DLC, otherwise none of these seem much more than concepts
So they basically left a shit ton of Awakening and Fates skills in it?
Probably leftovers since I'm pretty sure they use the same engine
Great video also I was wondering how do u record your videos and also ever thought of doing fantasy life videos again
wow these are actually pretty cool skills
*sees Gray with Royal Sword and Falchion*
Wait. That’s illegal.
1:39 hold up
Imagine an enemy hitting you with Lethality…
Aw hell nah.
😂
killer bows and the royal sword have a skill that hits twice so attack twice seems a tad silly.
attack twice is a passive skill tho.
reminds me of the animus ring that jedah carries in the final battle; i stole it off him using NTR cheats, it was great
Me too, but with powersaves
Guys, guys...
Nullify magic op.
What? A ring that prevents you from using magic? How would it be useful?
Celica has the Exalted Falchion lmao
attack twice is the adept that we never will see in these modern days...
Can you hack the illusory heroes into other classes?
Something unrelated to this, but it seems the amiibo units have facial expressions apparently, so the classes the amiibo units are using LITERALLY blocks their eyes and mouth from doing any facial expressions. It's shown when I saw someone model swap Roy's model onto Alm's and had him using Scendscale. :p I do want to see someone change the amiibo units' classes though.
+yofan360 that's why I was wondering, cause I've never really seen someone do this before. If you have a video link to the Roy swap, could you please send a link? thx.
Man imagine how much easier this game could be if some of these were added in the final game
BraveBlitz or harder, if they gave them to enemies.
I'm guessing these could be future DLC.
So aside from a couple of weapon exclusive skills, Attack Twice was most likely renamed to be Double Lion.
but double lion can't x4
But can you hack some more resistance stat for Clive?
How did you manage to do this? I wanna try it out myseld
where do you get all these cool hacks? It would b pretty cool if you could share them
I see you had the Royal Sword on Gray and Delthea. Are they able to use Scendscale properly if they learn it by any chance? That'd be really interesting to see.
Jakkun Scendscale actually isn't tied to the Royal Sword, it's "Alm's ultimate art". That, or it's a skill also tied to the Falchion.
it's tied to both weapons
Ok wait, you have Exalted Falchion in inventory but I can't get it?
Yes I am using Powersaves, I tried to put in the weapons that are only seen from the amiibos (Not Alm's and Celica's)
I feel stupid...I've never even used the turnwheel before...Especially not for that
Does there exist a patch to access this content?
I think the reason they would have these skills was if they decided to make the gameplay more aligned to Fates and Awakening
Speculum is OP
Awakening/Fates leftovers!
Did i just hear Yosukes VA!?
Man, I would kill for an Anti-Dragon skill. It'd make sense on the Falchion at least. A shame it didnt get in.
To be fair, all the Dragons in the game are could as Terror. So Valentia's Falchion having Anti-Terror reaches the same effect.
Some of these skills seem very interesting. Not sure why they didn't make the cut.
TheSecretiveDragon most likely to stay faithful to the original with skills that enhance gameplay (and keep a solid challenge instead of lethality-ing everything with a high health character)
They could have added them for the post game dungeon since act 6 wasn't part of the original gaiden. It just seems weird to leave out content that is more or less complete.
Maybe then they're just beta skills then brought in to make sure the combat arts skill system works correctly (like how magic counter and regular counter have no animation and the health just drops)
Try Lethality on bosses. It will definitely kill the Creation, but I'm not sure about Duma. If all Damage came from one attack, would it still be negated? :)
Lethality doesn't work on the Creation. I assume it's because of Dragonskin's hidden effect being carried over from Awakening. It does however work on Duma, kind of. Due to a hidden skill, Duma will be left with 1 HP afterwards.
well,its the fatesengine afterall
Paragon and Aptitude would have been so useful ;-;
why is there a skill to seal your own magic?
So you don't use HP to cast a spell as a counter.
I found this video more interesting than FE Fates
I would've named Attack Twice as Adept
Yea
I WANT THEM
i think these skills where meant to be available in a Lunatic difficulty
also the exalted Falchion is marths- no fucking way
yup.. . most of these skills are OP....
Is... Is Anti-Mortals effectiveness against everything besides Duma or [POSTGAME SPOILERS]? Well, no wonder it was trashed.
Terrors probably don't count as "mortals" to be fair; if they're not zombies then they're animated objects.
Why didn't we get Anti-God?? It would've made the fight against Grima much less frustrating.
LittleMisZorua We did. It's just called deicide on the falchion. It's also on Marth' s and Roy's weapon but it's hidden on the their respective skill list. All deicide does is that it allows you to deal damage to duma after a certain point.
But Anti-God and deicide are 2 completely different things. Anti-God allows you to deal super effective damage to god unit while deicide just allows you to kill God.
Warning: spoilers for the final battle
Uh, Anti-god was a thing in the final battle. I'm pretty sure it was exclusive to that, though.
K but Mae. Mae sweetie. Why u missin 80%s? Cmon Maaaae
anti-mortals, isn't that a dbs thing.
I've just wanted to add this... Anti-God. Wtf. Duma was just killed in barely two hit (even if the first was a critical, Indeed)
Where to get the mirror shield??? Or is it not accessible?
"Unused Content"
None of these are in the game. Video used hacks.
Just borrow it from Link~ XD
anti-mortals. i wonder what mortals sounds in japanese. *ningen* oh.
>mfw most idiots think attack twice = double lion
attack twice = brave weapon
double lion = attacking twice with boosted crit and hit, not able to x4
I don't know... but I think these are definitely fake
Everything's fake nowadays.
Compound Interest is the most powerful force these were actually in the games data. It's kinda scary, but these were almost in the game.
