Laxá í Adaldal, Icelands big fish river #1

It’s probably the most legendary salmon river in Iceland. Not only is the river big but so are the salmon. No other river in Iceland produces more 20 pound plus fish each season and even with a chance of a 30 pound/110 cm.
Here a dairy from some of my time on a river that has gone through many challenges, but is still favored by many anglers from around the world, joining increasing number of victims of the Aðaldal addiction.

That was amazing. I always wanted to fish Iceland for the brown trout and char but one big wild salmon would make the trip worthwhile.
