- Sicknote gets everyone singing at the opening night of Bayleaf's restaurant. From series 8, episode 15 (1995)
I do not own this programme. Copyright Network DVD and London Weekend Television
one of the best episodes of L.B they dont make tv progammes like this anymore loved this episode!!
I loved the cast of LB especially George. I just love watching them
Great show great cast loving the reruns on drama
Love this so much!! I always end up with a wee lump in my throat at this!
John Alford (Billy) released a solo version of this song.
I used to Like London's Burning I have London's Burning on DVD
Why used to like it? Past tense, LB is still fantastic!!! Such a shame they don't make TV anywhere close to as good as this.
Who else would like to see Sean Blowers (John Hallam) do a solo on Smoke Gets In Your Eyes
Brilliant show
Totally loved it & the best thing is that its being re-run im on series 9 atm
One of the best station officers was tate
So emotional
Jack Baker
Definitely!
Probably one of the few moments on this show that geniunely made me tear up aside from Tate failing his medical, and Hallam dying.
You seem to have missed the tragic death off station officer Nick Georgiadis, his death made me cry as well as the other deaths. Such a shame!!!
All the characters were so relatable except one, played by Samantha Beckinsale (can't even remember the character name) but she was such a wooden actress.
Such a shame as she was so like her father Richard, unlike the the other daughter Kate, who was given so much attention by her dad when his 2nd wife tried to make him cut Samantha off.
😢😢😢😢i love that cast of LB especially Bayleaf ❤and Hallam❤
Terina Jenson shame james hesleden died he was a good actor
Stefano Pavone at least he’s in no pain now 😔
RIP james hazeldine, so sad
One of the last real Feel-good moments of LB
I totally agree. The drama in Series 9 involving Hallam's death was some of the best drama I've ever seen on TV and Series 10 was alight but it was never the same without Bayleaf and Hallam. From Series 11 it went downhill rapidly.
Agreed. Sicknote and Recall's deaths were what finished it off for me.
The last couple of series were awful. It was like a totally different show with boring unlikeable charathers. Particularly the last series with the the criminal firefighter who killed a guy. How depressing.
He made even Charisma appear interesting
@@danielfennessey It was Sicknotes that stopped it for me, despite the dip in quality post Series 9 I still enjoyed the following 3 seasons, but when Series 13 began and we were informed that Sicknote had died in the factory fire I was angry, no funeral, no goodbye to Jean and Owen, just a plaque later on in the season and a single mention, I don't know why they couldn't have just put it that he was injured in the fire and had to be invalided out, that way it would explain why he is almost never mentioned. I think the only thing I liked about Series 13 was the new firefighter played by Sam Callis, its a shame he was ruined in 14 though.
Brill thats why billy released on a single still have it.
"why do you always have to start people singing"
One of the naff bits of the series
