We've had good luck with Carlisle tires as long as they are rated higher than minimum needs. We put them on our previous travel trailer and had 2 blowouts at D rated but upped to E rated on that trailer and never another issue. We have G rated Sailun tires on our Solitude after replacing our 4 year old Westlakes. They were still good tires and we sold them for a cargo trailer. These Sailuns have done us well in over a year driving between Texas and Arizona.
We have a 2016 GD Solitude 384 GKR, we full time and are state park hosts. We went with Boar 19.5 wheels and Bridgetone R238 19.5 truck tires. Almost bullet proof.
I have to get a new set of tires for my enclosed car hauler. I have decided it’s between three brands. Either Goodyear Endurance, Carlisle, or Hankook trailer tires.
I put Carlisle tires on my motorcycle trailer too. I traveled a lot of highway miles going from track to track. They are the best tire in my opinion too. I have a 45' DP, so I have Michelins on it.
Hello! I'm still running Carlisle and on my second set this year. I'm getting about 30K out of them as a full time RV'er. I could get another season out of them but chose to be on the safer side. They have performed well for me, seem to run cooler and have a stiffer sidewall then the previous brand. I'm going to continue to stay with Carlisle. Thanks for watching.
@@TheCampoholicsfyi Carlisle branded tires are manufactured and sold exclusively by The Carlstar Group. The brand has a manufacturing plant in Clinton, Tennessee, and a brand new plant in Jackson, Tennessee as well. However, the Trail line of tires is still manufactured in China.

Good luck with the tires. We have the 2021 GD Momentum 376THS and they came with Cooper Roadmaster load rating H. 17.5 inch. Safe Travels!

I have always heard great things about Carlisle. Certainly not cheap but they look great on the rig. Should be nice to travel on new shoes.
Let's hope so, there is always an uneasy feeling with trailer tires. All the war stories.

We thought about the Sailun tires, it was a toss up between the two brands. I guess its like buying an RV, there is no perfect one.

Heck yes, I still run Carlisle, run cooler, tuff hard tire!
