man for anyone about to start this position I just say don't let anyone tell you any different about how you work and how fast because at the end of the day, you're gonna be walking the whole time you are clocked until your lunch and then when you come back from lunch it's all walking but if your coach asks you to do oversize I say thats when you will need to rush because when that time starts from when you click it its percentages from how many times you scanned skipped or can't find so it brings the whole OPD area down bringing the whole upper staff people to come and watch how you work and then you get annoyed that everywhere you go you have someone watching you 24/7 so I just say when they tell you to take that 15 min break take it because you're gonna need it
The part that annoys me about this job is customers asking where things are. And half the time their like an asile away from it. I had a guy last week ask me if we sold alchohol, and we were standing by the eggs which were not even 10 feet away from the entire alchohol section. It was baffled.
ONLY get curbside pickup because my feet arthritis so, bad to walk around the whole store I tried tipping the shopper but they don't take tips unfortunately. I wish Walmart would let people tip you all. Appreciate y'all doing this job. I really miss grocery shopping and just walking in general. Everyone has reason why they can't go inside the grocery store.

for cold (chilled and frozen) there are timers and you have to usually get atleast 100 items picked total per hour usually, or atleast that’s the goal average pick rate to go for

I see the shoppers when I’m in Walmart .. y’all never check exp dates never look at the produce or meats to see quality … only time I do pick up is when I’m sick and can’t go… then I call the store to complain if I get too close or past dates and meat that is gray produce slimy … and when I see the shoppers they stand chatting it up with each other , no one is just doing their job which I get sucks …I hate to grocery shop but ya know if I stood around shooting the breeze with a coworker or doing my work poorly I wouldn’t last long 🤦🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️

I have this exact position and when we are picking meat products it forces us to look at the expiration date and select when it expires before we're allowed to scan the tote.
Actually the customer has the option to select (do not bag) it's not common but I've seen it a few times. Or she could just be bagging everything at the end. 🤷

I started a couple weeks ago. I can tell you from my experience I am not allowed to wear a hoodie only jacket even though I’m in the freezer and fridge unstocking a bit. My co workers who are female all wear hoodies under vest and never got in trouble for it or had a word said to them.
I hate that so many people use delivery and pickup. Having so many these people that are timed blocking the row. My normally quiet walmart now full these I would rather have more customers.
