When we look at these kinds of things we feel sad that we weren't around or old enough during the 70s, 80s, 90s, and/or even the early 00s to experience such amazing things and we imagine how euphoric it would be to be alive in such a time, even with all the crazy shit that was going on at the time like the numerous wars, sky-high rate of violence, the quick rise and fall of prostitution, large amounts of drug use, extreme poverty, and so many more problems, of which we would just forget in our blissful imagination. Now back on topic, a lot of mountain roads in Japan now have speed bumpers to deter street racing/drifting and while it's still alive today, it just isn't the same and isn't as popular. We should still be grateful that we are living in the age of information in which we are able to see these kinds of things within moments and at any time we want. I just hope that a new trend comes up that is exciting and thrilling like this. Who knows what could be next? We've only been through 20% of the 21st century, not even a quarter through, and many of the people that say they were "born in the wrong generation" still have many many years ahead of them.
Idk why but these type of videos with old Japanese pop bangers calms me down so much, i just be looking at beautiful cars slide with beautiful music, truly the best antidepressant
This was truly a golden era and the fact that it'll bever come back makes me incredibly sad. Sure, there's still people in the mountains at times, but not groups this big, and the police hunts them now.
dude I saw last week some dudes driving on one of the mountain roads I normally go on weekends, and they stopped with the police, because some shithead with a civic crashed and spilled oil on the road, I continued because I didnt do anything related to that but its sad less people drive on these type of roads nowadays, sorry if my english is bad

tougedreams: hold my beer
0:57 love that
1:30 that looks so amazing
oh god if you're listening please make me at least 16 years old in the late 80s early 90s. I want to go back, back to where I would be happy
NO MORE STAY WITH ME 😭😭
Imagine owning that Red fc back in the day dam wish they just keep making them
Ok Peter
DRIVER PETER
DRIVER PETER
too bad they ran out of stock and stopped producing drift monsters
I have a white fc, close enough?
I'll take the S13
Back when nobody had hydro handbrakes
I lived in Japan 2 years and could probably count on 1 hand how many hydros I saw. They still dont use them
Or automatics
Not to mention the cars were dead stock all you need was shitty tires to burn zip ties or tape and skill and you were good to go
idk why but when you stretch the footage from square VHS to landscape it somehow looks kinda good
Never thought I would see Stay with me and drifting in one video and this combo is just perfect.
2020 Japan Kids watching this all day during quarantine
Favorite video of all time, hands down
00:28 Nani?! KANSEI DOFRITO!
Amer Aljabr how is that a inertia drift
@@Ayeato Yeah, the movement is similar, but in the end it's not really a _"Kansei Dorifto"_ :V...
0:44
Even the Skyline does it
transitioning is not called kAnsEi DoRiFtO
@@teobog Yeah, they're different things, as I said before...
This feels so nostalgic in a time I was nowhere near existence
0:07 why are the headlights winking at me
Imagine being alive during that scene. It must've been so much fun to drive the mountains like that with spectators and no cops. Just having a blast
3:16 just listen to that guitar! Best part of the song.
so smooth!
本当にかっこいいな
I feel like I used to have a past life that I drifted in the mountains of Japan, why do I feel deja vu watching this?
I feel like that too. What era do you feel like you were in? 80s? 90s?
@@christhompson4950 drifted during the 80s continued in the 90s and died in the year 2000s
咲くCherry I’ve always felt like I was a 90s street racer. I really wish I could have seen that stuff when it happened. I feel like putting a camera from the 90s in my car so I can make more of these videos. It somehow looks more realistic than modern cameras.
@@christhompson4950 I might have drifted for 20 years then died.
咲くCherry what car(s) do You feel like you ha?
man the 90s drifting looks much better than todays a little
i would give up my soul to own one of these classic cars nothing i love more than cars/trucks in general
I just love how everyone in the comment section is feeling nostalgic. But yet most of us didn't even exist or lived in Japan then 😅😂😂
Well guess we just want this type of society.
Good common sense.
In my town you barely see some jdms, just shitty amgs, bmws
I never saw a real life supra mk iv
Ahh the good days

1:40 well someone is late to deliver tofu :)
