@@unknownuser4060 I’m glad to hear you had a great time! Just please please please be safe and maybe consider taking it to a track to get your skills before doing it on the street. I’ve been in two wrecks in the curves. First one was a few years ago with a friend. We were drifting and he lost control. Went off the side of a hill and rolled over. Came out pretty good all things considered, just had a minor concussion from my head hitting the window. Second was on my sport bike. I’ve been riding for a few years and just picked a bad line while going ~60 in a 35mph curve and had to lay the bike down. I have some nice scars from the road rash and my leg still isn’t 100% a month later but no serious injuries. The good times definitely out weigh the bad and I’ll get back into it eventually. You just gotta understand and accept the risk you’re putting yourself at and manage it the best you can. Have fun and stay safe out there 🤙

You first gotta mod the shit out of your car, you can't go buy a RWD Nissan and immidiately go and have fun on a togue, because they either make daily drivers or super fast track machines. I miss this kinda golden mean between practicality and comfort, like Silvia, Skyline, MR2 or RX7. The only fairly new car i can think of that is in a reasonable price and could be lots of fun is GT86/BRZ. Times are hard for petrolheads, and it wont be getting easier.

@@gabrielgra5655 The joke here is that the car in the video is a Honda Civic EG6, the same car Initial D character Shingo Shoji drives. The other part of the joke is referring to Shingo's failed _Double Crash_ on Initial D protagonist Takumi Fujiwara, who drives a Toyota AE86 Sprinter Trueno GT Apex, in which Shingo ended crashing into the guardrail, launching his EG6 a couple feet into the air, hitting the guardrail again with its front end after landing, and finally coming to a stop at the next corner. Because of that event, Shingo is prejudged as a clumsy driver and a "rammer". This led to the inception of the "HAHA SHINGO GUARDRAIL BANG CRASH *C O O L V I B R A T I O N S* LOLLLLLZZZ" meme.

When we look at these kinds of things we feel sad that we weren't around or old enough during the 70s, 80s, 90s, and/or even the early 00s to experience such amazing things and we imagine how euphoric it would be to be alive in such a time, even with all the crazy shit that was going on at the time like the numerous wars, sky-high rate of violence, the quick rise and fall of prostitution, large amounts of drug use, extreme poverty, and so many more problems, of which we would just forget in our blissful imagination. Now back on topic, a lot of mountain roads in Japan now have speed bumpers to deter street racing/drifting and while it's still alive today, it just isn't the same and isn't as popular. We should still be grateful that we are living in the age of information in which we are able to see these kinds of things within moments and at any time we want. I just hope that a new trend comes up that is exciting and thrilling like this. Who knows what could be next? We've only been through 20% of the 21st century, not even a quarter through, and many of the people that say they were "born in the wrong generation" still have many many years ahead of them.

This was truly a golden era and the fact that it'll bever come back makes me incredibly sad. Sure, there's still people in the mountains at times, but not groups this big, and the police hunts them now.

dude I saw last week some dudes driving on one of the mountain roads I normally go on weekends, and they stopped with the police, because some shithead with a civic crashed and spilled oil on the road, I continued because I didnt do anything related to that but its sad less people drive on these type of roads nowadays, sorry if my english is bad

咲くCherry I’ve always felt like I was a 90s street racer. I really wish I could have seen that stuff when it happened. I feel like putting a camera from the 90s in my car so I can make more of these videos. It somehow looks more realistic than modern cameras.

I just love how everyone in the comment section is feeling nostalgic. But yet most of us didn't even exist or lived in Japan then 😅😂😂
