The 1895 had far to many round dimensions to say for sure its a 54R, but generally the similar of the British 303 etc. The ally on the left appears to be an officer of sorts so she would be likely to carry what ever side arm she fancied. Like wise the Axis on the right wasn't issued the flexibility as the axis stretched supply lines as a biproduct of an offensive movement in war, so keeping consistent round sizes made acquiring ammo sustainable; resembles a Mouser. now that I over analyzed the piss out of that...fantastic art and music.

Nice art, but Imperial Germany took no joy in their debacle with Great Britain and in fact would help individuals when presented the opportunity, rarely did one revel in the killing of another under such circumstances, also, just another tidbit, trench warfare made it nye on impossible for an exposed close ranged exchange like that without getting sprayed by machine gun fire or shelled to death, this is just a spew, not meant as a critical review, the music itself is neat, and thank you for sharing this. I do enjoy the classics, but this is cool too.
I know you commented this months ago but I think there's a story to the image and considering its Swan Lake, which is something of an ode to dark against light or good versus evil I think we see the literal embodiment of that in the image. I also like to imagine these are two sisters with different world views and ideologies ending up on each side of their guns. Wars like this were not so much about ideology, but seeing the calm collected demeanor of the allied girl against her wily and clearly pleased with herself counterpart on the axis side, this was a showdown they both waited years to have.
