Marina Bay Sands is known for its truly spectacular festive light-ups, and it’s taking things to the next level. Held at the heart of The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, The Dragon Awakens: 2024 Light-Up reveal of two majestic 40-metre-long dragons in front of a 15-metre-tall Dragon’s Gate. Framed by 88 koi fish ornaments, a dragon’s pearl, and 28 lotus lanterns, the decorations illustrate The Legend of the Dragon Gate - where a carp that perseveres upstream is said to transform into a powerful dragon once it crosses the dragon’s gate.
