As Long As The Lemon Trees Grow made me cry 4 times before I reached the middle of the book. So yeah, many tears were spilled
I'm reading it right now❤. Such a nice, heartbreaking story. Bloody war and brave people...💥💞
SAME I loved it SO MUCHHH
I'm coming back from a multi-month booktube hiatus and one of the perks is that I can kind of binge watch the videos from my favorite creators that I missed. So glad to be back ❤️
I CLICKED SO FAST
Sameee
SAME
I read Turtles All the Way Down after watching your video and I am so grateful that I read that book. It explained a lot of things that was happening to me and as you rightly said in your video, I felt as if someone actually understood. Thank you, for just reading and letting us all know about it.
I'm excited that Ruthless Vows comes out in December of this year instead of April of next year cause the ending of Divine Rivals had me screaming.
If you've not read Jane Eyre, do yourself a favor and read it. It's so great 😃
I was actually really surprised how good that book is
Highly recommend The Tenant of Wildfell Hall by her sister Anne, it’s even better 🤩🤩🤩
@@romalibra_books that one was great too! Totally different! And Wuthering Heights were also incredible!
Wuthering Heights is my fav Bronte book but Jane Eyre is also amazing ❤
It is a beautiful book✨
It was the first ever English novel I read, when I was in 5 th standard.Till then I only have read novels in my regional language, Malayalam. From then on I started reading English books and have come a long way😊
I was so scared you were gonna drag Divine Rivals, but I’m happy you really enjoyed it!
I waited so long for a new video from you and rewatched videos so many times that I can hardly believe there is new content 😢I can’t wrap my head around it , I admire you so much ❤
The last tale of the flower bride is the best book I've ever read!!! 😍 I'm so glad you loved it!
i listened to the last tale of the flower bride because of you (the narrators were so good) and it was so stunning, one of my favorite endings i've read in a long time and it reminded me so so much of my own youth and obsession with the unreal and girlhood. i don't think i'll stop thinking about it for a while, thank you for being the recommendation that got me to pick it up!
The Last Tale of the Flower Bride is definitely in my top 2 books of the year. I think about it ALL the time and already want to reread it.
Hope things are getting better for you and your loved ones!!
I read the Last Tale of the Flower Bride after you mentioned it in an earlier video this year. So good. Definitely a favorite for the year.
I hope you are taking care of yourself and enjoying fabulous books❤
Hi Hannah, I read Divine Rivals after I saw it on your IG stories and I loved it. Definitely deserves the hype and I'm so glad I read it. I'm also currently reading A River Enchanted and I'm so relieved you liked the second part of it! 😌
I recently read Yellowface and IT WAS SO GOOD! It was the first 5 star I've given in a while
I loved The Last Tale and I think Roshani Chokshi is such an incredibly unique writer. Her work is just so beautiful and indescribable. I actually read from her the first time because of you mentioning her YA series quite a while back, so it feels kind of special to hear you talking about your love for this book since it's a favorite for me, as well!
I just finished the last tale of flower bride and i didn't get two things 1.what tati found that and indigo poisoned her
2 what indigos sketches in her book all this time
hannah i would loooove a video where you go through all the series youre reading and say which ones you want to finish and which ones you want, i think it could be fun !!
I picked up Juniper + Thorn randomly last year and it was also a favourite! I've just pre-ordered A Study in Drowning as well, the UK hardcover is divine 😩
I loved A Fire Endless. It’s one of my favorite reads of the year so far.
As soon as you said book that made you cry, I thought of As Long As The Lemon Trees Grow. Such a good book ❤
mexican gothic is such a good book!! definitely one of my favs that i read last year. velvet was the night is another good book by her :)
Hannah i have been watching you since you started and i am always happy when you post, love your videos!♥️💜(I’ve never clicked so fast to watch one of your videos)
Girl I’m so happy you uploaded a video and I’m gonna get your journal for movies and tv shows ❤ I’m so excited to read As Long As The Lemon Trees Grows . The best book I’ve read this year definitely would have to I’m Glad My Died by Jennette McCurdy and a book that made me tear up was The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks . The book that was disappointing for me was This Is How You Lose Time War . As far as books that I’m looking forward to getting at the second half of the year are Book Lovers by Emily Henry, As Long As The Lemon Tree Grows, and whatever else comes my way
omgggg ive waited sm for this video, love youuu Hannah!! 💗
It's a good day when you post ❤
High praise for your favourite book of the year. Yellowface is getting a lot of hype so I'm sure I will get to it at some point. As Long As The Lemon Trees Grow is going on my TBR ASAP! 😊💙
THE FACT YOU LOVED THE LAST TALE OF THE FLOWER BRIDE MAKES ME SO HAPPY. It's one of my all time favourites and the amount of bad reviews it gets makes me so sad
I agree with you about the last tale of the flower bride. I myself have not read it yet, but I was surprised by how quickly people stopped talking about this book. I mean that it becoming more commonplace now, for books to stop getting hype when they're actually out except for a select few, but I was really anticipating this one. I want to love this author's work, but the gilded wolves really didn't work for me but I adore her writing style and this book, at least from the premise, feels like it would really work. I am expecting to love this one, and I was shocked to not see it in bookstores near me. I am though getting it as a birthday present.
I love your jewelry matching to the Starless Sea theme! So cute haha
I felt the exact same way about Flower Bride! ♥️♥️ like immediately had to order a signed copy
Hannah my sister truly truly love to read books so so much and she loves your earings so so much you are my inspiration and I will support you till end 💖🙂💫
I sadly have to study first before I can watch this but it's always nice to see you 😊 you're the only youtuber I watch regularly
hannah has blessed us once again
Your book’s recommendations are freaking amazing! Except Daisy Jones, but Seriously all the others are books I never would have known about if it were not from you ❤
Suddenly my day just got brighter 🌻 📕
THE QUEEN HAS UPLOADED
So good to see you again ❤
I really need to read divine rivals! Thanks for your suggestions!
can't wait to read whatever wonderful books you publish in the future!
DIVINE RIVALS SUPREMACY!!!!
Omg, she's back! ❤️
Oh my goshhh i LOVE yotd. It’s truly underrated
We have the same tastes, your recommendations go to the top of my wishlist. ( my favorite book of this year is also the most beautiful i have. just see the french edition of A Far Wilder Magic!)
I totally get what you mean about Chain of Thorns, it sucks to be let down by the final book in a series you've otherwise loved. Blood of Olympus felt like that to me, it's almost like betrayal haha hopefully you're still able to enjoy the previous books regardless!
Great to see another video from you, Hannah😊I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts on Yellowface; it's still on my TBR for this year as well and I hope to get to it soon.
Speaking of R.F. Kuang, I 100% also need to read The Poppy War before the end of the year. I'm really curious now about Divine Rivals, too, since literally all of the booktubers I follow have been reading and loving it.
My favorites this year so far have been Daisy Jones and The Six(listened to it on audio and loved it) and the entire Green Bone Saga by Fonda Lee.
Hope you are doing well and had a good time at the Taylor Swift show : )
Yes the queen has posted
Oh my GOD hannah posted on my birthday!!!!!! Greatest gift ever 😭😭😭😭😭❤️
Happy birthday!! 🎂🎉
The chain of thorns disappointment is real. Jordelia isnt the same to me anymore😭
I barely ever cry reading books but so far this year TWO have made me sob : Sorcery of Thorns, and Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow. 😢
you don't know how much i want that cover of divine rivals it's so pretty but limited edition kill me already
Yellowface waa my favourite too. I have The Last Tale of the Flower Bride as an eBook.
I hope you enjoy the Taylor Swift Eras concert.
I read A Study in drowning as an ARC and it was really good. Another one that I read had similar dark Academia vibes is All That Consumes Us
So many of these I need to read!!
Divine rivals pub date was moved up to December 26th!!!!
Hi Hannah, I know you loved The Charm Offensive and if you want another queer book with the reality dating show setting, I read a book last winter called Cupid Calling by Viano Oniomoh, and I really loved it. I really wanted to read another book with this setting and this one was great !
omg we have the same most anticipated with a study in drowning later this year
Legit choked on my water whenever you said Kendall Roy because I was not expecting to be SO SEEN
I beg you to reread the clockwork princess trilogy. Like girl you got me in the universe now I want you to get back in.
All my love❤
Your hair is so beautiful, you are a real princes
Pleas sometimes provide weekly reads I lover your recommendation ❤
Just read They Call Her Sofia by Doris Ladino and LOVED it! 😊
Divine Rivals was sooooo much fun!
it always makes my day whenever you post ❤️
Mexican Gothic is fantastic!! I’m about to read The Beautiful Ones!
I can’t wait to read House of Roots and Ruin!
Love your videos!!!
My two best reads so far this year were The Oleander Sword by Tasha Suri and Evil Roots: Killer Tales of the Botanical Gothic edited by Daisy Butcher. The Oleander Sword is also the best and one of the few sequels I read this year. Hell Bent by Leigh Bardugo is new release that I have not read yet but want to. An anticipated release for the second half of the year is something I had to google because I blanked on this question but I decided to go with House of Roots and Ruin because I enjoy gothic reads and I liked House of Salt and Sorrows enough. This I believe more of a companion novel to the first. My biggest disappointment is The Expert System's Brother which I expected to become a new favourite. It did not. My biggest surprise was Ariadne. I thought that this was a poor purchase and an example of me actually buying something because of the hype (and the type of book it is of course) but I ended up loving it. I don't think I have a new favourite author, partly because I don't have favourite authors full stop. I am tempted the Weird British Tales Series simply because of how much I loved Evil Roots and how I want to read the others in this series, but I also only read one so far. I have ordered in two more and we'll see how it goes. I don't get fictional crushes and I cannot think of any. As for favourite fictional character I believe I will have to go with Ren from The Keeper of Night, even though I am not continuing on with the sequel. I had to go down my reads of the year to work out which one to say, and this is the only one that jumped out to me on that list that is new to me and a character that I loved. I don't think I have cried this year in relation to a book and I haven't come close either, but I did find Lost in the Moment and Found by Seanan McGuire chilling. I don't read happy books so I guess I will say A Natural History of Dragons by Marie Brennan because the main characters passion for dragons was simply nice and charming in a sense. I brought the hardback edition of Plain Bad Heroines by Emily M. Danforth and that is a beautiful edition. I love this book so much and I originally had the paperback but I regretted not getting it in the hardback and now I have both (the illustrations look better on the paper they chose for the paperback though). There are quite a few books I want to get to by the end year, some of them being nonfiction in general because that was a goal of mine, but I do want to read All's Well by Mona Awad because that was an anticipated read and a suspected new favourite and I still have not sat down to read it.
How do you look up which edition of a book you want? Or how to find editions to match the ones you have? Is there a good resource for that or is it just good googling skills?
She's back ❤
Hi, just a heads up, you still have a Bookdepository link in your description, even though Bookdepo closed down a little while ago.
Welcome back
I read so many amazing books this year so far but there's been two books that were both disappointing 😞 but overall, it's been a great year for reading 📚 😊
What were those two?
@@Morfeusm Cop Town by Karin Slaughter and Stay Home by Ava Pierce (lockdown inspired, fiction)

Does divine rivals read more as YA or adult? It was in a YA book box but sometimes YA books are more NA and have older or more confident characters.
I love A Little Prince too!
we need a volg of the taylor swift concert hannah
OMG I HOPE THE CONCERT WAS FUN! I’ve been trying to get tickets for London
would love to request a reading vlog for yellowface if you want/are able to! ☺
When are you going to post your review of Fourth Wing?
Love your videos. Have you ever read Chimamanda?
You should definitely read Ishmael by Daniel Quinn! I've just finished it and it is honestly life changing. Although no explanation of mine will do it justice, the book is essentially about a guy (the 'protagonist') who is looking for a spiritual teacher who can enlighten him and he finds an ad in a newspaper about a teacher who is looking for a pupil, very coincidentally... or is it??? This 'teacher' though is unlike any that you would have probably ever read about in any book, and teaches the 'protagonist' about the world through an animal's perception and provides insight on so many important themes of harmony, balance and the way of life, most specifically how the human condition and our perception of life on earth is, at its core, so so so distorted and warped. One of the most profound and deeply life altering perspective that it has ingrained in me is through its take on the original story of Adam and Eve, the garden of Eden, Cain and Abel and how the author illuminates the slightly radical yet impossibly unmistakable truth within these stories that we are all too familiar with, and yet completely misunderstand. At this point, it has become my bible. My whole thinking has shifted and honestly just thinking about the book makes me wanna cry because it's just so beautiful
I LOVE YOU❤
This is a great excuse to suggest to everyone that sees this to read “Heart’s Blood” by Juliet Marillier. Irish magic, loose beauty and the beast retelling, disabled major character (with no magic cure tropes), beautiful prose, deeply romantic. And it’s a standalone!
Thank you for this rec. I love books with disability rep.
my best is in memoriam
Would you PLEASE read and review the An Unbelievable Truth series by Joshua Ryan Erwin? I've never heard anyone review these books, and they're fantastic! There are currently 3 books out.
Book I- An Unbelievable Truth *Author's Edition by Joshua Ryan Erwin
Book II- A New Beginning *Author's Edition by Joshua Ryan Erwin
Book III- Elijah the Great by Joshua Ryan Erwin
Can you please read "The time's traveler wife"? 🥺
I am so glad I am not the only one who is a bit disappointed in chain of thorns
Lovely ❤
I freaking love Rebecca ross 😤
