I let mine get really solid in the fridge, and prepare the spots I'm going to place them in and pull them out and place them in small rounds. If you have it having the ac on(especially in the summer) really helps. I don't find it necessary, but some people will put them in the freezer so that are rock solid and that will give you a longer window to work with. Using the flower lifter with freshly piped flowers is possible but that works out better for flowers with a larger mass at the base like roses. hope this helps!

What's the best way to transfer flowers from the parchment paper? I was always make a mess of them using scissors
