Further info:
The Nanoflare 700 comes in standard frame size which is slightly larger than the compact frame of the 800, this means the 700 has a larger sweet spot overall and is a bit more forgiving to mishits, it also means that it is more user-friendly as there is a smaller learning curve as most players will be switching from a standard frame size already.
Precise RRP: Nanoflare 700 £180, Nanoflare 800 £190
Nanoflare 700 4U Max Recommended Stringing tension: 28lbs
Nanoflare 800 3U Max Recommended Stringing tension: 29lbs

Oh well its a good review I would just like to know what your thoughts are when you compare the Nanoflare 700 to the Astrox 88S
Which one is more fragile?
Can you do a meeting
from the BC forum, seema like some nf800 (5u) frame have durability issues , anyone here can support this ?
azu mkyo Nanoflare 800 5u isn’t available on the main market, haven’t heard of it before u mentioned here, versions on yonex website is 3u and 4u
Also don’t forget to check out the free racket wallpapers I made in the description of the video :)
@@saravanasmusic3205 hehe, me too.
Thanks for a great review. Your game has improved so much as well. It's always a pleasure watching you do reviews and actual play.
So happy to see you play in real match at last :D
Purchased it yesterday and you released a review video today, FeelsGoodMan.
btw, which string would you recommend for the Nanoflare 700 ?
Any repulsion based string is best suited, e.g bg 66 force
kinda late but thanks for the suggestion, i already chose the Nanogy98
I think Anthony’s review of the racket was best short and concise😂
Kangarule haha yes top quality
11:40 you killin it there 👌🏼 🔥!
Thanks ❤️🙏

That footwork by Joshua at 13:24 is super quick and smooth!
What is your favorit badminton racket and why please answer like if y agree
My personal opinion here, but I would like to see a whole match recorded of you playing badminton👍
Yes
I don't have very good skills for backhands and smashes and sometimes i don't have enouth wrist power for playing at the back of the court. Which racquet you can reommend for me: Nanoflare 700 or ASTROX 77 or Duora10? Wich of those badminton racquets would give me more streanth with less wrist power? Which of those racquets require less skills (have larger sweet spot and more user-friendly)? Which weight is better for that purpose (3U or 4U) and which strings will give me more power? We play with Nylon Shuttlecocks.
im about to buy a racket , im thinking about the astrox series
i play both singles and doubles , what racket should i buy on the astrox series?
Hey buddy I am a singles player who gravitate more towards control and less power but still am a medium to heavy smasher so should I buy the 700 or 800 also have you tried the tornado t5 by ashway
Nice to see a new video Ken! I just got my racket that I ordered from longteng this morning which is an Astrox 88D. Just tested it out earlier and your were right in saying that its for advanced players as my shoulder felt a bit sore which is usually uncommon for me and i had trouble generating power. Oh well practice makes perfect right?
Thank you so much, I advise u to stop using the racket before you get serious injury, your body is more important than the racket, try using the Astrox 77 possibly in 4u option, I feel you would enjoy that racket much more,
Thanks
2 questions:
1. Have you used astrox flash boost?
2. What part of london are you from?
Aloha Coach Ken, I agree with your assessment of the Nanoflare 700. I picked up the exact same red model in April and have been using it ever since. It is excellent for the advanced beginner and intermediate doubles player, very forgiving. I use a yonex super grap grip, yonex BG 66 ultimax strings at 24 lbs. It is great for drive shots and forecourt and mid court play and has plenty of smashing power for me. It feels and sounds different from other racquets. I have been pleased with it and appreciate your review.
Thank you so much 🙏
Is nanoflare 700 fragile?
@Bryan Chun, are you still using NF 700 as of today?
@@miguelv2985 Aloha, I am presently using the Yonex Astrox 88D Pro, 4U. The Nanoflare 700 is an awesome racquet. I like the speed and feel of the 88D Pro and the smashing power is great too. Yonex has added some high tech features that have separated them from Victor and Li Ning. Prior to the 88D. I found the Astrox 100zz 4U very nice too. Hope this helps.
@@bryanchun5491 Wow, I wasn't expecting a reply since this was a year ago. Thank you! I'm currently using NF 800, it's quick but feels stiff and it's lacking bit of power. I know other people can generate good smashes but I'm not a power smasher. I also just got 88D Pro 4u and already played with it a few times and can see the power of this racket already.
Hi,
I am doubles player. I use even balance racket. I am little bit confused kindly suggest one
I haven't seen any comparison with the Nanoray and Nanoflare series so would this NF 700 be similar to my current NR 700 FX? From the Yonex racket selector chart the Nanoflare looks a little bit more head heavy and also a bit more flexible than my old racket, but they again the NR 800 is super stiff when compared to both of those. Maybe I'll have to ask if I can test someone elses racket first 🤷
Bro.. im using Arcsaber 7 3u now.. which would u reccomend? 700 or 800 for upgrade?
which one u prefer between astrox 77 or nanoflare 700 ?? .. Btw i always love all of your reviews ... the most complete review about racket on youtube i think XD
I hope you will also review the new string from Yonex. The Aerobite Boost.
It's great to inject different professionals opinion in the ur review video. Are u on 88d when Josh was on the Nf700?
Yes good spot!! And thanks
@@KenKarsaputra 15:02 and 15:10 smash was great. believe it's a 3u..?
I wonder how they compare to nanoflare 270. It appears that NF700 and NF270 are both headlight, and have similar flex.
Ayyy Ken got new flashy shoes :)
Yes review coming soon
Is the nanoflare 700 comparable with bravesword 12?
Poison Cobra can you make a review of the duora 10?
hello bro. how can you compare nanoflare 800 vs jetspeed s12. I saw your video about jetspeed s12. I have the blue jetspeed s12 right now.
Hey Poison Cobra, I am one of your regular follower. Now I am currently planning to upgrade my racket. Could you please suggest me the best racquet for game style.Below are the details of my game, requesting you to go through it and suggest the best racket for me :
1. Playing for 5+ years with breaks in between and using carbonex 8000 plus since then
2. Intermediate to Advance level
3. I would rate my smash skills - 8/10, Drop - 7/10, service - 9/10, Smash returns- 7/10, BackHand clear - 5/10 and movement(footwork) - 6/10
4. Shuttle I use is Mavis 350
5. My game is always an attacking game and I am good at hitting from back court.
I wasn't aware that racket plays a important role in a game until once when played with my friends Muscle Power 29 light. I noticed my shots were really powerful with Muscle Power when compared to the my carbonex 8000 light. At that point I realized that I badly need to change my racket.
Confused selecting between below rackets and reasons for that :
1. Muscle Power 29 light - since I played with my friend's racket and felt it was good
2. Astrox 5fx
3. Astrox 38D
4. Astrox FB
5. Astrox smash
I hope you can now help me in selecting one from the above. Also open for suggestions. Preferably Yonex since I am emotionally attached with the brand.
Kindly requesting you to give the reason for your selection as well
I’m using an arcsaber and Astrox 88D both 3U and when people hold my rackets they all say it’s heavy. But I got use to it since it’s the one I’m using for training. But I’d like to try a 5u racket someday when I’m a bit stronger and my techniques are more polished.
From 3U to 5 U is a big jump. 5 U is even lighter for frontcourt players.
Me:maintains my doura 10 like my life
Ken:openly exposes nanoflare in British rain
Have you tried any Mizuno rackets before
KEN WHERE ARE UR OLD VIDEOS CAUSE I LIKED THE WATS IN MY BADMINTON BAG VIDEO PUT IT BACK PLS...
How many layer of grip do you use?
Ken can you compare to victor js12 theMellon that you already reviewed thanks a lot for great content
Need Advice. So I'm a Intermediate level player with Agressive style of play. Played with Astrox 88D Game (BG66 Ultimax) for 6 months or so. It's a medium flex Taiwan made racket. I wanted to upgrade to Japan made racket and upon research found NF800 as an easy to play even balanced fast racket. I got it strung with Exbolt63 at 24LBS. Now my shots are not as powerful and consistent as they used to be with Astrox. So what could be the reason for this.
1. I have recently changed the racket, so I need to give some time for adjustment?
2. Choice of racket is not right because it's too Stiff for power generation?
3. Choice of string is not right?
4. Any other reason. Thanks.
Not sure about the 88D game but 88D pro is definitely a lot stiffer and head heavier than NF800, Exbolt 63 is also less forgiving than the BG66 ultimax if you don’t hit the sweet spot.
So to answer your question, that would be
1. Yes
2. Yes
3. Yes
Once again, amazing video
Thank you 🙏
Hey Cobra. Im about to buy a new racket, but can’t really choose between the Astrox 99 and 77. I have played badminton for about 4 years now, and my technique is pretty good. I mostly play singles, and rarely doubles. I think the 99 look more appealing, but I don’t know, if its gonna be to hard to use. Can you help me?

88d 3u/ 99 4u
Poison Cobra I bought Astrox 99 4u, and I’m really happy with it, thanks a lot for your vids. Keep doing a great job! Greetings from Denmark
Pls do a SHBZ2M or SHBZM2 shoes review and comparison between the Aerus3 and SHB65Z2M
Is it recommended to use a racket made for defensive doubles for defensive singles instead? (Because I feel this will give the single player a bit of an edge to defend quick drives, net kills and hard smashes)
Nope because they are two completely different disciplines
@@KenKarsaputra oh okay, I see.
@@KenKarsaputra if that's so, can the Astrox 2 be used for singles?

Bro, Is Yonex Arcsaber 10 a good racket? I hope you make a review about this thanks
What racket have you used before? My opinion, it's a great racket but depends on your preference and swing technique.

I'm using 700 right now and I can make more power than head heavy Racket. I always used head heavy racket this is the first time I am using HL Racket and I am loving it this Racket is more powerful than HH racket but u need a bit time to get used thanks

Powerful as hell but hard to control.
There are so many misconceptions regarding power... Different people have different muscle types and leverage so they generate power in different ways. At one extreme a person will have a lot of strength due to a combination of big muscles and leverage from low muscle insertions. example is a powerlifter. these people tend to be slow so generate power from raw strength. they would use a heavy racket for max power. on the other extreme you have people with thinner muscles and high muscle insertions. they are not very strong but generate a lot of speed. their power comes with the speed. they would benefit from a light racket and generate the power through speed rather than trying to slug a heavy racket through the air. So head heavy is not necessairly power. I am the latter person slim build but fast. I can out smash county level players with my 5u headlight racket because i can accelerate it through the air with a lot of speed. with a 3 u racket i just cant get it through the air quick enough. Look up KE= 1/2 mv2 then you will understand. So dont assume you can smash harder with a heavier 3u head heavy racket. you need to see how your muscle types and levers work and then choose a racket that works with your body.
I like your effort to analyse, yes different people have different builds and different rackets suit them, but for almost everyone, they will find smashing/ attacking with head heavy rackets to be easier. Also the kinetic energy equation isn’t enough to explain the motion of the swing and the differences in the rackets, so saying just looking at that equation to understand it fully wouldn’t suffice, the motion of the racket involves pivoting about a point plus more, and also most top level international players even though having a very slim build like lee Chong wei use very heavy and head heavy variants of rackets for more power and stability, it’s all down to personal preference and play style, it’s less black and white than just saying a bigger build person will like head heavy and slimmer will like light rackets
I somewhat agree with you.
But also it's about training & technique. Light racquets are very user-friendly & forgiving.
We need proper technique & hours of training to achieve same Swing speeds with a headheavy stiff racquet.
Nice information 👍
3 weeks left until I’ve made a full recovery from my surgery and can start to play again, I’m so gassed!!
I recommend you rest for one extra week to recover more
Don’t rush and make sure you rest well, that way when you come back you can let loose and go full out, get well soon

How is the headweight of the nanoflare 800 compared to the nanoflare 700
Like compared to the astrox 88s also
A88s is head heavy , nanoflare headlight, watch the video to see comparisons
@@KenKarsaputra so the nanoflare 800 is more head light than the astrox 88s
Like if i were to scale the head from 1-10
What would be the scale for the 88s, nanoflare 800 and the nanoflare 700
how is the nanoflare 800 headlight if the BP measured is beyond 290mm?
NF800 is an even balance racquet, NF700 is slightly headlight, most of the A88 series are really headheavy beyond 305mm, around 308-309mm balance point.
