Hakumen(Blazblue) vs Hayato(Mvc2) : BOTH characters have a name that starts with H and is 3 syllables. BOTH characters have a sword. BOTH characters hold this weapon in such a way that the tip of the weapon is pointing AWAY from the opponent. BOTH characters are considered low tier with poor mobility. As a result BOTH characters do heavy damage. BOTH characters have no projectiles. BOTH characters have a super move where their swords cause a wave to go across the screen. BOTH have a super move that causes the screen to go black and do series of sword strikes to the opponent. After the super is finished BOTH supers finish with an animation where they BOTH go thru the opponent with their final sword strike. BOTH have a super that gives them access to INFINITE super meter for a period of time. BOTH have a grab with similar animation where Hakumen or Hayato grabs the opponent pulls them close with one hand then throws them a distance. BOTH grabs can be followed up......command grabs for Hayato regular grab for Hakumen. BOTH have a move named "guren". BOTH have a sword swipe that causes knockdown.
The only difference between Hayato and Hakumen is Hayato is a low tier character in a game centered around team play, whereas Hakumen in a 1v1 sense is actually considered one of the stronger characters. Not Top 8 level, but somewhere between as low as Midtier to as high as mid to low S in a game where SSS tiers exist
@SirKapa oh ok.....and great tutorial BTW......perfect for a beginner like me. I like hakumen because I'm a hayato expert buy I know nothing about the game so this is perfect.
I really appreciate that. It was my first time making a guide, so I was concerned how it would turn out, but I'm glad it turned out well. I did notice that there aren't many updated guides for today, so I wanted to make one for Hakumen since I struggled finding any myself.
Thank you so much for made this video. Today I buy BBCF and I feel a conxion with Hakumen, but I don't know what Hakumen do, and now all's clear for your video.
He was my favorite character when I got Continum Shift on the Vita if I had the time to learn him properly I’d love it but even now years (I think almost a decade ☠️) later I can only really spam H attacks and the dash into kick into overhead specials with an occasional super or counter
The Poropicchi color tho Edit: before CF, Akumetsu worked on throws Also in TAG pretty sure it does. Hell Yukikaze works on grabs Edit edit: before CP, Akumetsu worked on Carl and Relius' Doll attacks
I'm aware of Hakumen's counter properties in BBTAG, but I wasn't in the other game. I do also know that you could combo into Akumetsu in BBTAG, but I was mainly referring to the BBCF iteration of Hakumen's kit. Also yes, the color I used is best color. The player who uses it is also godlike.
Love this game a lot. Don't play it seriously, but I still love trying to do better and play it on streams when I can. Plus Hakumen is too fun to NOT play the game.
If you can punish with 66 6A, you can punish counterhit recovery moves with full mugen combo. Doing 8k with minimum OD. This is a pretty good guide. There's some miss tho, kishuu invul through CA, not low profile. Hakumen gains magatama faster passively on ground. Hakumen dash can be jump canceled and super jump canceled. Tsubaki have much much higher stun on guard crush than normal guard crush.
Hakumen in my experience is 50% 4C, 20% Drive, 100% Awesome
And that's when I realized I've not even learned a combo, much less a basic one.

Very great video there arent that many visual guides for this game out there so its can be pretty hard to learn if youre not into reading a lot

@SirKapa what stick or hitbox do you use?
Before I switched to the Vitrix leverless I used to use a Snackbox

Same🙂

Hakumen is one of the characters I see the most. It also feels like there's a lot of Azrael, Hazama, susanoo, and Terumi.

the only thing I think is overwhelming is the fact he can convert of anything hit confirm the character😂
Happy to see people encouraging others to play blazblue! You earned yourself a subscriber, keep going king

Obviously there's some stuff that I missed, but I'm pretty proud of it given it's my first ever guide.
@@SirKapa Yea It is a lot better than most hakumen guide out there. You did really good. Wish I watched this when I started lol.
That's cool, mean while tagger literally is just watching in the Conor listening. All taggers list is slow and minus.
