I really wish they’d put out a live album of all these early performances with Alberto and the new members. I can’t stop watching these official vids. They absolutely nailed it.
Wonderful. Alberto Bravin obviously has a cosmic-scale task on his hands to follow David, but this performance really is crammed full of promise.
I'm more excited than I ever thought I'd be. RIP David: you will never be forgotten. Now BBT lives on, and we can all rejoice.
Hard to hear this Big Big Train song and not remember the recent passing of David Longdon.
It's a mix of emotions of loss for David and hope of realizing the band's determination to overcome and continue the journey. In any case, the music survives, without any loss, in the voice of the new vocalist. The journey continues to the next station. Let’s go together ✨🚂💕
🇧🇷
I'm onboard!
Agree and i will love the new changes equally- I’ve noticed continuation of style. David, RIP! I’ve got all your music and you will continue to be heard in my home while adopting the new singer.
New faces, same wonderful sound and FEEL. So good!
Such phenomenal musicians and Alberto's beautiful voice make this song a favorite of mine. Listening with high quality headphones is a must! Just sends me to another, beautiful place.
Gorgeous. And expertly edited. Thank you.
Heartbreakingly beautiful.... What a song this is... With Alberto at the helm the train is firmly back on track and hope is restored! David will nevertheless never be forgotten...RIP you beautiful soul... ❤
It's lovely to hear a great new Big Big Train line up.
Today was mostly grim with the start of my second chemo cycle. Just climbed into bed, opened UA-cam on the iPad and spotted this. It’s wonderful, brilliantly performed, engineered and produced. Thanks, Big Big Train, for brightening my day. Again. 😊
@@progrockrules Thank you!
Beautiful music can help with any bad situation. I wish you all the best with your chemo.
@@carltiivas6131 you're absolutely spot on. Many thanks.
@@carltiivas6131 thank you very much!
Sending prayers your way!
This is amazing. Hope to see you in the US
Such a gorgeous song. Thank you so much for this. My first time seeing the new lineup perform, and they nailed it! I love the passion they all bring, especially Alberto. Can't wait to see y'all when you come to the US! (West coast too please :) )
What a beautiful video of a fantastic song, performed upliftingly by the band. A real Christmas treasure. Thank you!
I have some eyeball moisture. I am SO HAPPY that BBT is continuing on. Thank you thank you thank you. Love your new vocalist!!!!!!!!!
Alberto, Dave, Clare and Oskar you have done an amazing job and dome so very well in giving BBT a new direction. Greg, Nick and Rikard you guys are amazing and are so loved by all us passengers (I’m sure I speak for us all) David would be so proud I’m sure of the way that you have carried on, Greg this must hurt like hell but you are doing such a great work. Also to Rob for all you r outstanding engineering skills blessings to Sarah too thoughts with you at this very difficult time I’m sure xx … what an amazing and incredible band providing a much needed source of REAL music. Bless you all and wishing you all a happy Christmas
Great version. My new favourite Xmas / winter song
A beautifully written song by Greg and full of melancholic memories of David singing it. So pleased the band continues , everyone has worked too hard to let it go. Loving the line up , best wishes to all involved. And Thank You.
2024 cruise to the edge Can't wait!!!!!!!
Magic music !❤❤❤❤
I've seen this video more than ten times it's amazing how this version touches me. Bravin is perfect, it represents the place of Longdon very well.
This was initially going to be a difficult listen being loaded onto UA-cam so soon after the first anniversary of David Longdon's sad and untimely passing. But the new line-up deserves so much credit for increasing the dynamics of this seasonal song first released five years ago - Alberto Bravin does a sterling performance on vocals while Oskar Holldorf is a very competent and faithful keyboard player and Clare Lindley's slightly distorted violin towards the end is wonderful. Credit too to Dave Foster for a lovely guitar solo. Keep up the excellent work lads and lady
I can't believe this song was released in 2017
What a wonderful sound of the Drums !!! Beautiful !!!!!!!
Gotta admit, I was worried about the future of BBT but I feel better now. I think David would appreciate this. Such a refreshing breath of a band.
I came to Big Big Train many years ago through my admiration for the drumming of Nick, and they have never disappointed with their writing & playing. This song is no exception.
So beautiful performance, great job with Bravin!
A very underrated song, performed beautifully. It was such a great surprise on the set list at Aylesbury, and pleased to be able to hear it again. David is, and will continue to be sorely, sorely missed, but the train has a new direction and I for one am on board to see where we are going. Wonderful. Thank you.
I have been waiting with anticipation to hear the new lineup and it has been well worth it. The new members seem to fit perfectly and this is a fine song. Will be very interested to hear how the older material sounds live.
My favourite BBT song over recent times … 👏👏
Amazing Song!
Beautiful song ❤️
One of my very favourite BBT songs and this is THE version. Wonderful.
wonderful to hear this!
the guitar and keyboards recall vibes of early Genesis tracks
Wonderful, youmade me cry. Thank you BBT for this music!!!
I like it! Really nice. Alberto sounds great too!
Alberto is awesome, but don't sleep on Dave Foster! He's gonna bring a LOT to this band too! ...and how cool is it that BBT make it a habit to have cameras around?
Totally awesome. Typically beautiful melodies. Love the new lead vocalist. The best is yet to come!
This is beautiful. Hairs on back of my neck standing up. So lovely.
Best piece of new music I have heard in 2022. More of this please.
This is a catchy one
Stunning.
David was a hard act to follow but Alberto, this is nothing short of superb 👏
Can't wait to see what's next for BBT
What a beautiful song
Great song and great recording! I loved the show in Zoetermeer!
New singer is excellent. RIP David.
I need time! 🥹
Thank you all for this. Stunning.
Beautiful song, Alberto is amazing
It looks like the Train is moving up again....such a good news after recent tears...
Alberto is filling David's shoes so much better than I believed he could. So good to see Clare Lindley (ex Stackridge, DLM) in the new line-up too. RIP David Longdon.
This song had me shedding uncontrollable tears! So much beautiful emotion is in this song.
The guys are back again! Congratulations, Alberto! Congratulations, BBT! Wonderful! 👏👏👏👏
Another stunning addition to the BBT catalogue - beautiful with emotional heft and real feeling. I saw this lineup at Aylesbury - they are amazing!
The new band has been born. Like the Phoenix! Bravo!.. RIP for David Longdon!
So evocative, it really sounds like Christmas.
Mission accomplished.
Wow! Brings tears to my eyes. Not many bands evoke so much emotion. BBT have that knack in abundance. Absolutely beautiful. Long may they continue to create such exquisite music.
love this track so good to know this bands music will continue to be heard in a live context like this- we've all had a terrible loss but to add the loss of BBT would have been another sadness too far and too soon
I LOVE YOU ALBY!!!
Bravo Alberto visto dal vivo quando militava nei mitici Pfm, un grande!!!! si merita solo il meglio continua così ... buon lavoro con i Big Big Train bel pezzo
Gorgeous....simply Gorgeous. Wishing you all the best for the future
Beautiful song! They didn't play it during the gig, though. It was a night to remember for ever. What a band!!!
What a fantastic Christmas-song, great performance, thanks for sharing, see you soon in Germany!
Was für eine geile Aufnahme!!! Merry Christmas to all at Big Big Train! I will ever remember David Longdon, but now I‘m looking forward with hope to a new album from Big Big Train.
It does seem strange seeing BBT and not seeing DL at the front singing but, honestly, this is just beautiful - very well done to Alberto and the current line up. Here’s to a bright, optimistic future for one of the best bands out there.
Wonderful!!!!!!!
Very nice recordings, looking forward to the DVD of this concert. Enjoyed the performance at the Boerdeij
I didn't think they would be able to match the incredible talents of David Logdon but they have indeed done it. Rock on, BBT. Please come to the USA west coast. RIP David. I hope you know how much we love and miss you.
Very pleased
WOW! BBT sounds better than ever!
Been waiting for this and fantastic describes the performance! So great to see BBT moving forward after David’s passing.
Gregory, thank you for saving the band. Always waiting for BBT at the next station. Good luck!
That was really lovely. I got introduced to BBT during the time of David Longdon, Dave Gregory and Rachel Hall. It always take some time to readjust to a new line up but this was really good. So pleased that BBT are going strong.
So beautiful! Excited to see where the 'Train' goes from here! I'm on board!
I had a ticket for this show, my first time to see this fabulous band live, even without the much missed DL.
I couldn't make it the end, work called at the last minute, so I'm so glad to see this performance, even as a soundcheck. BBT still sound like, well, BBT. Apart from Alberto, who sounds brilliant, the other new musicians, Dave, Oskar and Claire, fit magnificently too!
Bravo!
Truly wonderful. What a song. You know that feeling of trepidation you sometimes get when something new comes along in a different format and it niggles away a bit? That feeling disappears in the opening bars of this beautiful track. Amazing. I love it and it will be on loop. Chapeau to all, especially the new Passengers!
Blessings to Greg in particular, I can only imagine how much he must be missing his band mate and good friend David.
Superb.
Great musicians and great song! 👏
Wow - what a fantastic song!
What a perfect replacement for David.
I was very skeptical about Alberto, but I have chills. Very nice, y'all.
Have no fear ! The band sounds different, but still amazing ... all is there to continue making wonderful music despite the tragic passing of David Longdon and some members leaving! Great!
Wow this is very good. Thank you
A great preview of next year's Blu-ray no doubt. At the Aylesbury BBT gig I was chatting to the photographer who told me there would be over 30 cameras recording the Zoetermeer show. I'm ready to pre-order!
Correct, they even used their web cams used for streaming during COVID
Bravissimo Alberto!
at the cinema showwww!
Just a beautiful gift for this Christian time, I lo ve big big train is pure magic, greets from Chile.
Merry Christmas from USA stay safe.
David would be so proud. ✨💐✨
absolutely beautiful - looking forward to seeing BBT at this location later this year!
Never listened to them before today. Very reminiscent of early Genesis, but that's no bad thing. Looking at Spotify I appear to have a lot of catching up to do. Very enjoyable.
Welcome. And happy catching up!
Such an amazing band!
I didn't like 'Welcome to the Planet' and after David passed away, I felt that the band should call it a day, but this is a very powerful performance and gives me hope that they can still do great things. Well done Alberto, great vocal performance!
Incredible. I never believed that the band could maintain its style and quality after the disappearance of David Longdon and the abandonment of three of its main musicians. Bravo... !!
Just stumbled in by UA-cam recommending. Why I didn't heard of you till today?!
Listening to you brings very nice memories of Genesis, King Crimson, Neil Morse and Transatlantic. I'm glad that I found you and I will dig deeper into your oevre.
Good job! Keep it on!
Cheers from Berlin
With thanks to UA-cam for recommending, wilkommen! We've been around for 30 years so there's plenty for you to investigate. Viel Spass and hope to see you at a show - we have 5 shows in Germany in August/September this year.
@@bigbigtrainband 30 years? Unbelieveable! Than I look forward to lift many treasures. And maybe I will go to see one of your live shows in the summer.
Pure joy. Thank you.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Reminds me of parts of Steve Reich
I gave the 666th like. Sign of the beast :))
Wonderful music
As great as these videos are, are there plans for a commercial dvd release of this show ?
What a great song!
scoperti per caso, bravi bel brano
