Alto is not a voice type.
And Altos are jealous of Sopranos because they can belt high notes. That's pretty useful if you're out with friends and you're doing karaoke. At least, here in my country it is. I do love that I'm able to sing tenor parts and even some bass parts as well though so :3
It's astonishing that *Mariah's* range is essentially all of this 😱
GarageStudio its much bigger (F2-B7/C8)
@@elusive7244 I am laughing on how wrong this range example is. Mariah Carey's Old range is A2-G5-Bb7, now it's G2-F#5-A6
@@duckyu6573 mariahs range now is A2-E5-A7
More than this
Mariah range is F2-A7/Bb7

Such a mood. I kept my high notes until I was 14 and then they gradually started fading away and now I'm 16 and I really can't hit them anymore
Eric Cholico They might come back. You’re still growing :p
Beyoncè's belt is incredible. Thats why she is one of the greats.
You got every singer I’m alive for this. The resonance in the 4th and 5th octave gave me an ear infection
Derek Raynaud The F4 is insane
Derek Raynaud I agree!! I'm obsessed with those 2 octaves ❤
The fact that it made it seem like they never took a break to breathe makes me feel stressed
After 2:50 :
Your coffee is ready 👌
I'm ded!! T•T
I love this so much! And I love that you finished with Rachelle!
The way she gradually adds vibrato to the D7 and then takes it off. That is very difficult to do and requires absolute muscle and breath control.
Me: Mom can we get a kettle?
Mom: we have a kettle at home

Lets be honest, G6 is when we all had to start turning the volume down.
beyonce - F5

Alessandro Moura
como assim até Eb5, ela suportou ate G#5 em uma love de Resentment querido
Alessandro Moura
e quem liga pra tessitura, a propria Barbra canta fora da tessitura e suporta as nota

And she's phenomenal.
islandbee what was your favorite song she sang?
@@summermcpherson8209 - Out of those sets, I can't really remember. But, the set I often visit on YT is her and George Duke performing With Every Breath I Take at the Montreux Jazz Festival. I also saw George Duke live maybe a few years before he passed. He signed the CD I bought and said I looked like a musician. Which was an awesome compliment because I'm not worthy under his presence. Extremely humbled by that man. And I'll always remember those kind words.
Beyond phenomenal. Love me some Rachelle.
She whistled there?
@@johnmolloy1046 - Yes. She's always toying around with those pipes of hers.
I think from E4 (1:01) to E5 (1:45) were the notes that are pleasant to hear)) idk
Dan Red that must be the sweet spot for most of these singers is what I was thinking. Where they have the most control.
agreed
Dan Red that’s because it’s the natural vocal range, where notes can be produced without the strain of supporting muscles that should NOT be involved in singing
f 5 too
Rihanna‘s A4 was literally perfect
