I love Roland printers but the lack of engagement in the comment section for a $90K machine is concerning. Is there an error in the ROI slide and what is the difference between the U-1000F and the comparable Ricoh model as previously asked?
Something does not seem right with your ROI slide? 12 - 4x8 boards/hr. Print total = 2,200 4x8 boards. In an average month of 20 work days, that would actually equal 9+ hours per day of print + set up etc. Also, with $0.17/sf ink cost over a 32sf board, your ink cost would be closer to $5.44 per board. To add to that, not sure what media you are using for $11.50/4x8 board but I am guessing coroplast. At your price of over $4/sf for the average sales per job, I am not sure who can sell coroplast signs for that high, especially at a sustained volume of 2,200 boards per month. Then you get to your profit...$24,985.44. If you sell 2200 4x8 boards by cutting them to 2x3 signs and sell for $25 each, then that is 8800 signs at total revenue of $220,000. Profit of $24K on $220K is nothing to brag about. Being at 10% without labor, cutter etc included? Am I missing something???
I plan on using this printer for my prints and business
i got UV ink in my eye
hurt like hell fucked up my vision
wear your glasses fellow flatbed operators
also get a self cleaning machine
Same here! I was cleaning my UV when a tiny white ink drop went into my right eye 4 years ago. I am now with astigmatism with that eye and I have to wear glasses with -0.75 diopter on the right side. So be careful all!
i need financing for this
LOL
what is the different IU-1000 and a same RICOH UV flatbed printer?
It’s the same unit. Just rebadged
