Hi Stephen. Good to see the Lightrack out again!! I have the same one and I love it. Hope you get it out again at night soon, though I haven't been out in a while with the crummy cold weather. Clear skies mate!!
Brilliant 👏
Nice video. Looks very complicated to me. 😂😂
It’s not too complicated once you get used to it.
nice Starman I have the Ioptron.................the key to getting the tracking right other than polar alignment is making sure your rig is balanced........very important or you could have the gears working against the weight of your camera which is not good. Also dont leave it running for hours as all these mounts need a manual meridian flip after a while if your doing long sessions
Yeah he's back ,he's amazing ,love him thankyou ,TVs off ,this is better ,wow wow your amazing ,you should be on TV,enquire interested
Thanks Diane
The thing you look through looks like its looing at the ground

Hi
This isn't actually a star tracker. It does not lock onto a star like Hubble Space Telescope. All this mechanism does is to derotate the sky.
Bit of a different beast to the Hubble. This is one of any number of portable devices that are called star trackers.
