Don't blame you for not going overboard with the polishing. Just enough it shines, that's the ticket 😎👍
For sure. If it was a once and done deal it would be a different story
@@Ezrider359I agree 👍
Nothing more satisfying and aggravating then polishing Aluminum
Cattle guard looks 👀 great 👍 on “Ol Red”, Ezra. You’ve done a lot of work to that classic 359 Peterbilt but it all pays off in the long run. Hope you’re doing well sir. See ya on the next one
I saw on Jay Leno a product that he promoted and had the owner on his channel. He said he doesn’t endorse most things he likes but this is great. “ Quick Glo “ all natural and made in the USA. Clean, polish, and put a coat to keep it shiny. Even chips that rust. Removes rush and seal it up.
i love that cow 🐮 catcher on the front awesome
Are parts readily available? запчасти легко доступны?
@@MrFakit Их достаточно много. Но двигателя Cummins 15 тяжело ремонтировать , мало специалистов
That bull catcher on Old red looks awesome💪
Love the videos and all the different content you provide with Old Red! Thanks Ezra!!
At least you care enough to try and preserve it.👍🏻
I hope this works well, good info thanks.
Alright 👍 man love old red!!! Look forward to more videos of old red and your vacation home in Kentucky!!! Heck yeah!!! Awesome
That stuff works. Used it on our Tri-toon pontoon. Algae came off easy as dirt…..
I was wondering why you didn't just fit a bull bar, now you have and it looks good
Looking good 👍
Looks good!👍
I have found a really good clear coat for polished aluminum. The product I use is rated for high temperatures as well. The product I use is applied with an hvlp paint gun. I mirror polished the crankcase on my triumph 750 engine and clear coated it. 10 years later, it looks just as good as the day I coated it.
So what is it
@steveg2509 Imron Fleet Line 2K MS Aluminum Clear Coat EL700
@steveg2509 I recently started using a clear powder coat on all of my polished aluminum or magnesium parts.
@@mikeshultz1007 iv got some imron 8840s clear coat imron is some tough stuff. I can get imron products where I'm at but I know a lot of places have outlawed it because of environmental restrictions.
Truck still looks good
good job again... BSAFE!!!!
I have two tins of that shark stuff sitting in my garage for two years now. I feel the same way, that’s why I haven’t done it yet lol
Awesome video thanks Ezra for your time and consideration top job 🚛🚛🚛🚛🚛🚛🚛
Thanks for sharing.
Looks good!
Looks great love the new moose catcher👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸😎
Video on that coming soon. Actually quite a bit of new content coming out
Only thing I don't like about mine is the time it takes to unscrew and pivot to check
The oil.
Looks good! Hopefully that stuff works, I hate polishing too, so anything that helps would be great!
I'm hoping it does too, it's definitely time consuming to do the polishing.
damn your aluminum looks great
That's one hell of a bumper
luv shark skin and luv your vids,,,,,whats the new bumper look like in the dark,,,, you going to light it up
I my polishing days, i used corn starch to remove the existing oxidization when done polishing... incredible how much is still left when you think you're done...
I generally clean them with a degreaser after polishing to remove all the left over residue. I then wiped them with lacquer thinner because that's what shark hide recommends
I just use acid but I dilute the shit out of it. Just flash it on spray off
Con starch fo sure..Also I sed baby powder
A wool hand pad with corn starch pulls so much black residue from the fine scratches.
I am going to try my hand at the next level of polishing, the sanding, cutting and buffing, if I fail then the tanks are getting painted. 😂
Yea. My 1986 359. I use corn starch but I did my rims 4 years ago. I had them done by a local guy. Then clear coated 3 coats clear. Rims still look great. And I only do my nose and I have aluminum bumper. I did. In clear coat. Mistake on chips. So I got a bumper coming in. Will install and redo my aluminum bumper. And have it chrome
Twin Sticks mentioned you in his video this morning
Red looks good bud.
I found that after polishing keep the shining with car wax
Alright here we go! Cheers!;-!)
Do you still have the green Mack?
No I sold that last year
Greetings from the uk. Always nice to see progress on old red👍🏻 Do you still have your Jaguar?
Yes I do!
I used to buff with mothers, then do 2 coats of turtle wax.
👍🏻🍻
Ezrider when did u put the bull catcher on ? Looks amazing
Recently there will be a video on it
Any progress on the new shop you haven't done a video on it since spray foam insulation was installed.
Some progress has been made that project is going to take quite a while there will be updates as things get completed
Yeah that's going to take a long time to do just curious to see what you gotten done more hopefully you're done with the installation now and are you going to put anything on the walls like sheetrock or OSB?
I wonder how clear coat car wrap would hold up?? couple years maybe??
Hope this product save money and time for you
I use 2 stages of zephyr and then their sealer except during winter
Are you going to do a video on installing the Moose catcher
yes there will be a video on that.
Wait and see....
Ole red is looking great Ezra, I like a little 359 time, see ya next time
ol'red still looks fuckin great. Be interesting to see for this works out, less polishing the better lol
👍✌️
I wish you luck with the product I tried it and don't like it little hard to get off your wheels
Time will tell I suppose
😎👌
Step boxes... i would acid them and paint them red
My plan is to replace them. The drivers side has a 379 box so I want to switch that out for the correct one they are kinda spendy though so it keeps getting pushed off for other things
No.. just no. Painting aluminum boxes is blasphemy

@ quick side story... a couple years ago or so, i was sitting in Schatz in Minot and saw a person that i thought looked like you but wasn't sure... went outside and saw 'ol Red' and kicked myself for not meeting you... LOL
I'm in and threw the Minot area quite a bit. If I stop in Minot it's normally at shatz
