I just watched several videos on water drops, and this was by far the best! Excellent photography and detailed explanation. Thanks ever so much for sharing your knowledge and talents with the world!
Thank you Kendra for the detailed lesson. For the first time I think I really understood how to produce realistic water drops. Will practice this today.
I really appreciate how you show EVERYTHING - like dabbing the water on the towel every time - I wasn't doing that and wasn't getting a good gradient. Thank you so much.
Oh good, I hope this helps your gradients. There are other ways to do it too such as using the rim of your water jar. This is just what works for me. ☺️
Your water droplets are amazing. I tried this, and though it's nowhere near as good as yours, I'm happy with the results and will keep practising to get it better. You've inspired me.
I can’t believe you have only 129 likes on this video! This is a great demonstration and guide for loads of good useful tips. Love all the videos I have watched so far.
Yes, you are absolutely right to do that! That’s what I should have used on the first ones, on white paper. They looked really odd without the local colour didn’t they! 😂 I think the blue worked well on the green leaves because blue mixes so well with green. They turned out so much better. Thanks for this comment. I think it’s a good practice. If anyone is reading this far, try this! ^
Hi Kendra! Good demo and explanation. I saw your post on Watercolor - Beginners and Beyond Facebook group. I tried the droplets before, but it was not so good, this time I would like to try again.

I’m a newb! My goal is to learn Adobe premier pro this year, hopefully it comes with some audio help. Thanks for letting me know that the music was too loud. And thank you for your comment that the tutorial was helpful, I really appreciate that. :)
Your method looks amazing, but honestly, I'm finding it too difficult to follow your voice instructions, because of how fast you speak. Beautiful droplets, though!
Thank you for your insight. I always worry that videos will be too slow/long/boring. I’ll try to keep in mind to not go too fast. One idea for now would be to click on the settings gear and change the playback speed so it’s a bit slower.
This is fantastic! Thanks ❤
This is great! Well explained!

Hey this is a great tutorial, and I love the way you show different techniques and how to fix it when it acts a way that you don't intend. Thank you!
You're welcome! I like to say there are no mistakes in watercolour, only techniques that you wish you could use somewhere else. ;)

Very interesting. Ive never seen blue used before for waterdrops. Ive always used a darker value of whatever the drop is painted upon.

Audio isn’t that great and the music is too competing. Still, the tutorial is very helpful.
