Apparently they did not understand your question. Their 1 pound jar is the SMALLEST of their FOUR sizes! Probably answered that way to make it seem less expensive than what it is.

This is a great product. Phil built a boat out of it, I'm pasting my car together with it. (My car is 23 years old). The only downside is, don't get the big tub. I did that, and I stored it, just like the video said, and I pulled it out to use it this past week, and it was as hard as a rock, and useless. Now, I'll be honest, Flex Seal Products did make it good, and are replacing the hard paste with the smaller container of it. And, the Flex Tape has worked well for me too. Just remember on the tape, once you get it placed on, IT AIN'T COMING OFF. LOL Great product line.
Next time, maybe make sure there are absolutely no air bubbles? Also, did you save the silica packet?

Is it ok if I disregard the warning , and gouge down really deep in the flex paste, so that huge air bubbles form, and totally dry out the flex paste? I would continue to do that over and over, buying countless tubs of flex paste, and ruining it the first time I use it. I was just wondering if that was recommended or suggested. I'm a big fan. Thank you.

Do you know how to preserve the cartridge of flex seal paste after opening it? They don’t give instructions for that and for that reason I have yet to open it. I don’t want to waste the stuff
@@cameronemamdjomeh4091 Make sure the there’s no air between the paste and the foil, and replace the silica packet. They’re relatively cheap online and in department stores

Just received my first bit of Flex Paste today but it was already about 100F when it arrived so I will wait to do the repairs until early morning tomorrow when it will be in the 70s. I am curious to see if I can use it in any of my creative things and already have plans to test a few different things. Somebody, please, tell me I'm not the only one who is watching this vid, without even able to buy Flex Paste, cuz there is no any of flex products in my country markets.

I have a question. I’ve spent a lot of money to replace old sliding glass doors with 2 white French doors with side panel on each side… making a total of four glass doors; far right and far left stationary left and right center functional doors.
The original installer obviously did something incorrectly when he built the 1 foot stoop required to step outside of the French door. It appears that the flag stone had a slight level towards the door as opposed to away from the door. Having no guttering above, consequently each time it rained water gushed into that crevice between where the tile met the base at The French door. As a result there is water intrusion coming inside underneath the bottom of the French door and seeping in and under the hardwood floor that is inside. I have spoken with numerous “contractors” and “handyman‘s” Who have all assured me that they could fix it without question. However, I have already made those stupid mistakes twice and they have been extremely costly. So my question to you is whether or not this product or one of these products will do the trick if I apply it on the outside at the bottom of the French door to prevent water from continuing to come in. Once I see that solves the problem then I will need a woodworker to replace the trim that is around the French door both inside and out because they both have visible water damage. In addition, because the water has seeped underneath the hardwood floor inside the home I have additional pieces that patchwork could be done. I am so hoping that I can find someone who could do the job for me and get it done right once and for all.
Understanding that this is not an easy request to find someone with these broader talents and skill sets… I thought perhaps you could either steer me in the right direction if you know of someone who you could recommend in the south west part of Orlando Florida or S you believe that for starters one of these flexseal Products might be a good place to start. I really want to continue to have faith that there are some people in this world that pride themselves on not only good workmanship but offering knowledgeable advice based on years of experience. I sure hope you don’t let me down.
And if this is not the right product I would so appreciate you staring me in the right direction or two the ideal workman that could accomplish my goal.

I accidentally got some on a new pair of shorts, tossed them in the washer to clean them and the paste is still on- similar to sitting on wet part, not "oh I took it straight from the container and smeared a glob on the shorts"

I loved your commericals and I HATE commercials. I spent alot of money on flex seal and used it once. I just got it back out about one month later and it's hard as a rock. I put it away like directions said. I'm a little pissed off. Is there a way I can soften it again so I didn't waste $50
