Awesome video! Nothing quite like the backcountry on a crisp winter day. So lucky to have this right on our doorstep in B.C. Subscribed ;)

Thanks so much! I couldn’t agree more - winter in BC is such an awesome time of year to go exploring.

Perfect timing ! I am planning a trip like this for my first car camping experience ! I also live in BC, and Squamish isn't too far out. I am now binge watching videos on the topic to make sure I don't miss any essentials while out there !
Would you by any chance care to share this spot? Also, do you usually have a rough area in mind, or do you just go poking into forest service roads until you find a spot close to the water?
Great video, In a few years I will proudly say I was one of your first 50 subs :D

Hi Marcello - thanks so much for the kind comment. It’s really great to hear you’re heading out winter car camping for the first time too! It’s such a unique experience compared to camping in the summer.
I always do some basic research on the area before heading out. I’d recommend grabbing a copy of the Backroad Mapbook if you haven’t already. Its one of the best resources I’ve found for getting a detailed view of local FSRs and trails. While I don’t give out specific locations, I’d suggest having a look within a kilometre either side of the ‘High Falls Creek’ area of the Squamish Valley ;) cheers, Chris

@@cedarcabinsociety He asked you if you could share the location, you should have just said "No" instead of asking him to buy a stupid map book. No one buys/uses map books anymore. Thats just a silly way of saying no.

I appreciate your input, but I have a different opinion. I haven’t asked anyone to buy anything. I was asked for advice on how I research and find the areas I camp. I responded by recommending the most useful resource I use during that process. Moreover, I know countless friends that still use the BRMB and topo maps as a primary resource.
