Those are probably some cheap alloy wheel nuts that don't have serrated edges on the wheel side, which is what actually makes it possible for any good wheel nuts to stay tight. If I'm right about the style of nuts, it's because I have purchased quite a few sets off eBay, and a couple of extended hub sets, same people making the nuts and hubs, and I mainly wanted them because of the closed outside face and to install wheel nuts that match my different colored bodies. You can still use them tho, just go to Lowe's or Home Depot and grab 5/8 lock washers, the style that have little ears tweaked to turn down towards the wheel. Once you put those on with those nuts, you will have absolutely no worries and the washers seem to last forever. If you need me to add a picture of the washers, I will, no problem, I'm sure my description sounds good to me but someone else possibly not, especially if they have never seen the washers I'm referring to, but keep up the good work Gary, sorry I am just now seeing this. I am actually researching all of the high end electric TRUGGY kits, XRAY, Hot Bodies, Team Associated, TLR, Serpent (which I know you speak highly of the RTR), Mugen MBX7E ECO. If you have time and read this long comment, tell me how the Serpent Cobra TRUGGY RTR compares to the TEKNO ET48. 3? Please and thank you ahead of time
Hey Gary was hoping you could help me out since I know you own both an MT410 and ET48. I was wanting to take the parts from an NT48/ET48 and mate it to the chassis etc of an MT410. I've been looking over both manuals and I am pretty sure it will work but my only concern is the steering assemblies as they are different for both cars (judging from parts numbers). I know that the MT410 chassis is interchangeable with the ET48 chassis because in the MT410 intro video by Tekno they had an MT410 using the ET48 chassis. Do you think the ET48 steering assembly would work with MT410 chassis?
Thanks, got a reply from Tekno and they said the chassis are inter changeable. For all intents and purposes the only difference between the two is the chassis and rear dog bone. Everything else is pretty much the same.
Since you were kind enough too answer that... on the Mamba X setup is there room for the sensor wire between the motor and esc? I assume on your Mamba2 your not using a sensor wire? maybe you could adjust it on the remote so the servo doesn't turn the tires as far. maybe it's trying to spin the servo arm further then it's allowing suppose to. Not sure I thought the steering was same at mt410 so not sure why ur having that problem mt410 has never had a problem although a hard bash this weekend bent my center drive shaft! and just noticed the front brace above the steering and servo saver has cracked.. on the very bottom screw in middle it has pulled through I'm gonna make an update video of it. first real breakage after many many sessions

Well I just found out it's a 24T and not the 25T like I thought. I have seen that and I love Rc scalers and crawling and have seen that kit but I have so much stuff here I still need to put on the channel so it might be a minute

Nothing wrong with titanium geared servos. Lots of guys run 400kg + servos in the Tekno vehicle's. Use a tekno servo horn for the number of teeth that matches your servo and set your dual rates correctly and you will have no issue 👍

Rather than replace an expensive titanium servo that continually strips aluminum servo horns, wouldn't it make more sense to simply install a titanium servo horn? I see them on eBay for under $1.50 with free shipping. Does anyone have experience with these?

The problem with those wheel nuts are thy on some axials they are not deep enough so you have to add a little washer.

Tekno hexes are slimmer then standard hexes so some wheels will rub on the knuckle and not want to turn and it looks sweet lol

If you had to choose only one would you get the mt410 or the et48.3? I am leaning towards the mt410 but I definitely respect your opinion.

A lot of guys are saying to install tekno shocks on the kraton and it changes the handling like night and day

Built 100% to spec so I'm not too sure what is wrong but I talked to Bob and he said he has had nothing but problems with HiTec servos
