Those prices are actually not so bad considering it is in London, Pribinacek in Czech is for about 27Kc so 1.40GPB is not that far away! And Kofola for 2.60 is not so bad either considering you buy it for a British salary.

Hey! Next time when you go to slovakia. Can you try gulaš or guľášova polievka (soup) i would recommend the soup with bread or with bread sticks
Czechoslovakia is gone. Now you have Czech Republic and Slovakia
Yes, it has been over 30 years and the vast majority of people (in UK too) know it. But is completely ok for both Slovaks and Czechs to refer to our traditional products as "Czechoslovak" as most of them have a tradition which goes yet further than 30 years ago. What is more - 80 pct of these products can be found in both countries now.
Czechia and Slovakia
Is it common to usually find Czech products in Slovak shops or vice versa?
A lot of products actually have slovak on one side and czech on the other. I think that basically everything that is sold in Czechia is also sold in Slovakia.
it was an apricot :) merunka
Lots of Metka Cebulowa in the New Year 2025! 👍👍👍

you can Not
Nem létezik olyan, hogy csehszlovák...van cseh meg szlovák, két különböző népcsoport.
Let me repeat my previous comment: Yes, it has been over 30 years and the vast majority of people (in UK too) know it. But is completely ok for both Slovaks and Czechs to refer to our traditional products as "Czechoslovak" as most of them have a tradition which goes yet further than 30 years ago. What is more - 80 pct of these products can be found in both countries now. In fact, what may be kind of disturbing for both nations is calling us "ethnic groups" :-) - what you wrote in your comment. We are not ethnic groups, we are two nations/nationalities.
asi máš na mysli Československo- to už neexistuje. Ale Čechoslováku je statisíce. A nastuduj co je etnikum a co je národ. Nemyslim to ve zlém jen si to prober
Csehszlováknak születem annak is tartom magam
I wonder if Andre realized England is also European.
It is pretty common to refer to non-UK European countries as "Europe". Yes, UK is a geographical part of Europe, but "Europe" means continental Europe to British/UK people. This a very standard thing. So Andre made no mistake at all 🙂
Very odd logic. Lol
