We camp in Addo all the time. You can book a "Caravan Site" for normal camping for a slightly higher price but it is well worth it. There are also 2 tent sites in the caravan area.
The train can be annoying but we got use to it quite quickly. Summer time camping can be very hot. Our advise is to find a site with afternoon shade.
Addo is a great park, small and unique. You can drive every road in the park in one day.

Thanks again, we have planned and enjoy trips based on your advice in the past. Very helpful and informative.

    Hi there,
We are staying at Addo this Month. We found your video very helpful. Please could I ask you a question? The camp sites, are they all big enough? I have a Bushwakka Fargo trailer. I’m hoping to be able to put my 360’ awnings out for some shade. I’m stressing a little about the size of the sites to be honest and we can’t reserve any.
    Your opinion is very welcome.

      Hi Jonathan
The sites are small compared to other parks but you will certainly have more than enough space to set up the Fargo

What would be the most quiet time of year for camping with a tent?

I’ve found that winter in the camp is the most relaxed
