When i saw and continue to see this little girls bravery and her sweet message to her Country and its people. Well it has helped me to once again see and believe that there is still love and humanity in this world and it's Darkness. God Bless you and your family as well as the great people of Ukraine.

I've watched this many times from the 'surprise ' beginning. Her reaction is priceless. Yet I was struck by two things even more than her reaction....do kids go for Elsa over Ana? In all the excitement she seemed to pass over Ana for Elsa..made me smile cause of the innocence of the whole picture...most importantly I was taken back and tried to put myself in the Mothers shoes. How a song performed, with no music in a basement, hiding from the bombs of war, took her little girl on a journey that led to a stadium surrounded by Elsa and Ana singing with what seemed their whole heart...that mom showed amazing poise and control when I considering seeing her reaction (MOM) sent a chill down my spine each time I watched this. Its amazing on so many levels!!
After her song in Kyiv, her mother and brother and she move to Poland. Not long after arriving, Amelia sang the UKR national anthem to an arena full of people for a UKR fundraiser in Poland. Since then, Amelia has appeared on several TV shows in EUR, and been to the US, to film something that is supposed to be a secret. I don't think her mom, nor Amelia, could say no to these requests. Anything to help UKR. What is a twist is that her parents were not grooming her to be a performer. She just likes to sing around the house, all day. This has now become bigger than winning a golden buzzer on Got Talent. The whole thing started just bc she wanted to entertain strangers in a bomb shelter. Wow.
Yes, i was delighted to see Mom''s OMG reaction to what her 8 year oid daughter was accomplishing. This easily surpasses any Golden Buzzer that America's Got Talent could award. What impresses me most about Amelia is her chutzpa (Yiddish word, for "daring") She gets up in front of strangers in a bomb shelter to entertain them. Very soon, she was singing -solo- the UKR national anthem in a packed stadium in Poland. To be followed recently by a performance of "Let It Be" in Wembly stadium. Wembly, for those who do not know, is the most historic stadium in GB., If GB holds a major event - world cup., performance by Tina Turner, whatever, it's at Wembly. The legend of Amelia is growing faster than anybody expected. It seems that she loves it. #SlavaUkraini

This wasn't like the show walked out a couple of good singers. Amelia knew who they were, stars, and reacted with joy. They had changed some of the lyrics specifically for Amelia - "Vse Odno. Show us what you can do. Vse Odno. The magic one is you." "Vse Odno" is Ukrainian for, take a guess now ... "Let it go".

She had a backpack and kobsa, ukrainian national music instrument. It is a big one, seemed even bigger than the girl itself. And she sang and played on kobsa for us. It was so beautiful. It was so scary while shooting but when she played it was such a strong support of the spirit. You may think that culture and particularly music are not important during the war. No, it is very important. I undersood it there. I felt it with all my heart.
That's impressive - iv'e seen the girl singing in Kiew - it were in the news in germany - i'll think thats a really big surprise for her - she'll never forget - i got tears too - hopefully they had enough time to forget the worth at home for coming down - maybe they're welcome as refugee - till the end of this chaotic state in Ukraine - and the had something to retourn and call it a home

We were in the cellar when Kyjiw was attacked with missiles in the first days. And there was also a girl who hid there with her mother. She had a backpack and kobsa, ukrainian national music instrument. It is a big one, seemed even bigger than the girl itself. And she sang and played on kobsa for us. It was so beautiful. It was so scary while shooting but when she played it was such a strong support of the spirit. You may think that culture and particularly music are not important during the war. No, it is very important. I undersood it there. I felt it with all my heart.
This little girl reminds me why we must fight for our freedom !
That's impressive - iv'e seen the girl singing in Kiew - it were in the news in germany - i'll think thats a really big surprise for her - she'll never forget - i got tears too - hopefully they had enough time to forget the worth at home for coming down - maybe they're welcome as refugee - till the end of this chaotic state in Ukraine - and the had something to retourn and call it a home
